dear bad influence,
we're pretty much just caution tales.
we're the kids whose parents are disappointed, and other people's parents tell stories about to warn them not be like us.
sure, we're 20 minutes away from each other at harvard and mit. can't get that much better than that.
but all of the shit we went through to get there? that's what parents don't want their kids going through.
that's why we're caution tales.
you were right. although you helped my incarnation into a bad influence, but you weren't the big thing that made me into one.
i do like the bad influence thing. it makes everything, life, family, friends, so much easier.
so thank you for that. really.
although you did break my heart, you changed me for the better as well. i appreciate you. you are still the smartest person i have ever met and this is coming from a person who attends harvard, students and professors included.
i'm really happy you're making something of your life. you deserve whatever you become, and you should become a doctor. you really can help people, and i wouldn't be surprised if you make breakthroughs in your field.
and, not to mention that some of the writing that helped me get into harvard was based off you and off of us.
you're not a bad influence; not if you look deeper into it. if anything, you saved me from becoming someone i would've hated being.
from,
