It's not a moment I will never forget,
It's a feeling I will never forget.
It's the feeling of hopelessness,
The idea that there is no good future,
That all your struggles are in vain.
It's the feeling of being totally alone,
Despite being surrounded by people who love you,
By people who want to help you.
It's the feeling of being misunderstood and helpless,
As people fail to understand what you are going through.
It's the feeling of self-loathing,
As you lack the motivation to get out of bed and take a shower.
It's the feeling of not wanting to die,
But not wanting to live either.
It's most commonly known as depression. That is a feeling I will never forget, no matter how much I try.
