She feels all alone,

Like there’s no one she can trust,

Without hurting them.

She locks her lips,

From those she loves,

Secrets constantly begging to come out.

The voices pound on her walls,

And with no support,

The walls fall.

The voices whisper dark ideas,

Terrible thoughts,

And words of despair.

She closes her eyes,

Trying to chase away the voices,

Unable to ignore their words.

Feeling completely alone,

She begins to five into the voices,

And what used to be a war has become a surrender.
