When Trouble Collides

Chapter 18

I woke up on this fine Friday afternoon, it's been a week since we've been expelled, and some weird things were happening that we couldn't actually explain. We would always feel that someone was following us and watching every step we took.

Anyway, it doesn't actually matter, after we got expelled, Carmen's parents found out, and it didn't go too well...

Flashback

"But Mom!" Carmen shouted clearly frustrated.

Carmen's mom was pretty pissed, and her dad was boiling with anger "Carmen! Look what those girls are doing to you! You have to stop hanging out with them!"

"No mom! No! you just don't understand."

Carmen's dad sighed and shouted at her "Enough! go to your room!"

"I'm not going to my room, I'm going to my HOME, to the people who actually love me! Here take the car keys, I don't want it. And don't even think about contacting me! I don't want anything to do with any of you! You made my life a living hell and these girls made me happy to the point that they made me feel as if I was enough! They made me realize that life isn't just about money but also about friendship, love, happiness and mostly sacrifice for the people who you actually care about!These girls are my family! I barely see you and you have the fucking right to tell me what to do and who to hang out with? I don't fucking think so! Goodbye ."

End of flashback...

And this is how Carmen left her parents, and all the money she had just to live with Viki and I, as for Devin, she told her brother that she wanted to live here and he agreed, he actually didn't have a problem, he is pretty cool.

I took a hot shower, got dressed up and went to the kitchen to make myself a big bowl of cereal.

As I was pouring the milk in my bowl, I checked my phone to see if there was any text from Jack, but there was none... he hadn't texted me nor called me for three days, something is wrong. I shook my head to get rid of all those bad thoughts and sat down eating my breakfast.

I finished my bowl, put it in the sink, and walked out of the house, I decided to go for a walk by myself today, without anyone.

I plugged my earphones in and let Chester's beautiful voice fill my ears while walking on these streets. I looked around taking everything in, it's fall, there was a cold yet beautiful breeze, the leafs were coloured with such amazing colours, squirrels jumping from tree to tree. Fall is such a beautiful season.

I fixed my beanie and kept walking, Then stopped when I felt a hand tap my shoulder, I removed my earphones and turned around and saw those big hazel orbs.

I frowned "What do you want?"

Ashton smiled "Hi Sierra."

I rolled my eyes and asked him again "What do you want?"

He just shrugged "Nothing, I just saw you walking around and wanted to say hi."

I raised my eyebrow at him, was he fucking with me? Like seriously what is he up to? "Shouldn't you be at school? Or with your girlfriend?"

"School? Nah.. and what girlfriend? I don't have a girlfriend..."

"Nathalia you dufus."

He looked kind of confused and scratched the back of his neck "She's not my Girlfriend.. anyway.. how's Jack?"

I sighed and looked at the ground not answering, he kinda felt like something was wrong so he took a step forward "What's wrong?"

I just shook my head "Nothing..'"
