Kobra Kid's POV
****************

As Party and I were quietly running through the corridors which had pristine white walls covered evenly with posters of extermination, I suddenly became grateful that Electric Eclipse forced me to run at least 2 miles every training session.

I ran behind Party, so I could see his bright RUBY RED hair swing from his head.

To say that we didn't exactly fit in, was the biggest understatement ever.

"But, that's what makes us so fabulous!" I could hear Silver's perky voice sing against my skull like salvation, because she was right and Korse, well, he was wrong.

Just before the clan split, I had an idea to ditch our masks in the opposite direction we were heading, to mislead the colony of Dracoids, so we can find Electric faster and save her from any injuries that could turn fatal.

Party Poison sharply turned around the left corner whilst checking me over his shoulder. He smiled lightly at me, to make sure I was alright.

And was I?

More or less...

My hands were clammy and my heart was thumping against my chest as if it was threatening to leave me.

Hell, I probably would've been trembling from my nerves that were eating my brain alive, but the fear of losing my life, or even my brother's or clan, firmly glued my fingers around the trigger.

I nodded my head at Party Poison who came to a sudden halt as he tip toed in the air with his hand up to silence me.

His face scrunched up and he swore words of hell under his panting breath before shoving both me and himself against the wall.

I moaned as my head slapped against the brick.

"Party," I hissed, "first of all, the fuck?!" I rubbed the back of my neck as I shot him a look of daggers after he smirked, "and second of all, what's up?"
"There's," he quickly tugged his blue leather Pegasus jacket before twiddling with his ray gun, "some guy and woman comin' this way. The guy's in a suit and the woman is in a suit-skirt thing-"
"Party, I don't think this is the time for a fashion show commentary-"
"Which means that they must both work in the control room," he finished so smugly I wanted to shove him. "You're not the smart brother Dude, I am." He rolled his eyes at me.
"If you're the smart brother, Mom and Dad must've really loved me-"
"So what are we gonna do about the people?" I asked.
"Put a gun against their heads, frighten them into spilling information and then shoot them." Party's tone made it sound like it was easier than 123 and that there was an even more obvious 'duh' missing.
"Did they hurt Electric, do you think?" I tried to disguise the shaking in my voice, but the way Party's smirking face turned into a more of a concerned smile, tells me I failed.
"I think that they're working for an evil cooperation that takes the life out of living," Party hushed his voice as the others grew louder. "I think that they're in on doing more than hurting her-"
"We need to make sure that the Laboratory is secure, otherwise the children will be taken."
"Taken or saved?" Party slid in front of the woman in the suit and I leaped in front of the man.

His dark hands fumbled into his suit as panic washed over her face, but the barrel of my gun was already snarling into the direction of his gravy coloured eyes.

"Where is the control room?!" Party growled at the woman with golden hair, but his lips only quivered into a smug smile.
"I'm not sure what you're on about-"
I rammed my fist against the man's boney nose, his satin smooth blood began to trickle down his astounded face. "NOW do you remember where it is?"
"I'm not required to exchange information with anyone out side of S.C.A.R.E.C.R.O.W." Party shook his head slowly at the woman, before clicking his tongue against his mouth.
"It's a good thing we're not exchanging then, isn't it? We're not giving you anything." Her stiff posture tightened as she calmly exhaled and tilted her head towards the man.
"Nothing is free, Rebels. Not even life, it all comes at a cost-" I forcefully grabbed the collar of the man- by the screaming of the woman, I quickly learnt that his name was actually Derek- and dragged his back into my chest before placing the barrel of my gun against his sweaty head.
"And the cost for his life is information-"
"Your minds are plagued-"
"Why thank you Darlin'," Party winked at her, "and your skirt's too tight. Now we've stated the obvious, tell us where the control room is or my baby brother will ghost the FUCK out of Dalton-"
"Derek-" Anna tried to correct Party, but Derek laughed breathlessly at her.
"I don't think he cares Anna!" Derek carried on crying at her, his body shaking in my hold like wet lamb.
"Looks like Derek's the smart one.."
"It would be a shame if he died, a talent lost.." I muttered before prodding my gun deeper into his skin, his jaw clenched hard before he spilled information like it was a leak in a boat.
"We'll give you information-"
"Where is the control room?" Party demanded, his voice great thundered against the walls.
