'Trust me, Lily; you wouldn't want to read my mind. Well, at least not when I'm looking at you,' I smiled at the light blush that began forming on her cheeks. 'And, no. No, they can't melt, but they can think about things. Feel things.'

'Please, do not tell me you can feel me too,' stopping suddenly, she stated.

'Figuratively, no, I can't 'feel' you. But 'physically,' that is, if you let me of course, I can.' Ahh, another blush. 'If you mean feelings in relations to emotion, then, yes I can. Come now, Lily, I can read your mind, remember? So if you're happy, I'll be smiling. If you're sad, I'll try everything to bring a smile to your lips,' those plush pink lips. 'And if you have a strange tingly sensation in your fingers, and your heart starts racing and beating frantically, threatening to break your ribs, then-'

'Stop it!' Lily cut in, glaring at me with both her hands on her ears. I couldn't take my eyes off her.

'As to why you are feeling like whether I'm going to leave you, sorry Lil, that is one question I don't have the answer to,' replied I. 'Come on, it's best not to think about all this,' I decided not to look at her anymore. She could read me easily, and knowing me, one look into her large, emerald green eyes, I wouldn't be able to hold back. I let my eyes move down her left arm and leg. Scars and stitches were now visible. At least now it had healed from its original mess from when she first landed.

'I'm assuming you didn't get a chance to see everything, so I've decided to show you around, Lil,' I said. 'Lily, close your eyes. Both please,' I whispered in her ear. I knew the light would be too powerful, especially for her delicate eyes. 'I've had enough of just gravel. I want a bit more decoration.' I clicked my fingers, within a flash, our surrounding had changed. I blew lightly into her ear and smiled. 'Open your eyes now,' I, again, whispered.

'Oh, you mean like a tour guide? Will you charge me, as I don't think I have the right currency? Besides, this place looks beautiful.' She looked up at me, 'Yes, I know, stupid attempt at a joke.'

'Me? Charge you?' I replied in mock horror. I put both my hands up and gave her my most charming smile. 'I would back away from you, but I honestly cannot be bothered,' nor do I want to. As she giggled, I pushed her with my shoulder. 'Notice anything different?' I questioned.

'No. Everything looks the-' she gasped. 'A tunnel. A beautiful tunnel. I'm actually speechless,' she managed to let out. It's made of vines? No, no. Wait. Are these strips of branches? How did you make it curve? The flowers are just,' she stopped and finally turned towards me. Grabbing my blazer, she pulled me down, 'How did you do this. I had this image in my head. The green grass, the gravel, blue skies,' she waved her hand.

Releasing me, she moved back to the tunnel and began touching it with such care, as if any excess pressure would crumble it. 'We just needed a nice tunnel to match the gravel. Made from branches and flowers. With vines that crept all around it, leaving room for us to view the trees, the grass and sky,' each touch to emphasise her point.

Walking backwards, she bumped into me. I clasped my arms around her small figure and closed my eyes tight, and attempted to drive away her image. However, as I very well knew would happen, it got worse. I could picture her completely exposed. My eyes had allowed me to do it before, unintentionally at times, hungrily at others.

Damn it, Lily! You were my happiness, now you'll be my destruction.

Suddenly, she grabbed my left arm, sinking her nails in. 'Kray, did you hear that?!' She hissed.

Turning her, I held her shoulders and looked at her carefully, with a raised eyebrow. Even though she could read my expressions easily, identify my thoughts without asking; only I could read her soul.
