Her true self

Authors Note: This is the last chapter. Sorry this came out after Halloween. Anyway I hope you enjoyed this story. But just a heads up. This chapter is really, really, really sad. It has a really sad ending. Anyway if you want me to write a certain type of story or something then tell me. Ok, now time to get back to the story.

What's wrong?" Asked April. "I, I have to go!" Then she ran away. Out of the sewer. "Ruby!" Yelled Raph. Then the guys followed her. "Where in the world could she be going?" Asked Donnie curious. "Don't know." Said Leo. While they were trying to find her. Ruby was already out of the sewer. She then ran towards the forest. She ran past cars, buildings. She ran fast as a cheetah. Since she turned into a cheetah girl she ran really fast.

Once Ruby was in the forest she found a cave. It was dark. Really, really dark. She went inside the cave. She didn't bother to make a fire or any other thing that was a warmth or light source. She was thankful that she was away from her friends. She didn't want them to get hurt. To get injured from herself. Her true self. The self she never wanted to experience of herself. Her evil vampire self. It was 11:54pm. Then suddenly her head started to hurt badly. Then her whole body started to hurt. She held her head in agony. She yelped in pain. She was alone. Alone, by herself, in pain, in agony, no one by her side. It felt just sad and scary at the same time.

"Guy's I can track her phone. There's a way we can catch up to her." Said Donnie. They were all in the Shellrazer. "Hey. It says on the radio that there's a girl on the loose running towards the forest. That's gotta be Ruby." Said Raph. "I wonder what's wrong with her. I mean, why would she just run off like that?" Asked April. "She did look scared. I could see it in her eyes. Something's up." Said Donnie. They drove. It was a quick drive. They got to the same cave Ruby was in. "Ruby?..." Said April as her voice echoed through the cave. She didn't reply. "Ruby are you in here?" Said April again. Then Ruby stood up worried. "What are you guys d-doing here!?" "What are you doing here?" Asked Mikey. "Ruby what's the matter?" Asked Leo looking worried. Ruby looked at the ground trying to hide her face. "Go..." Ruby said coldly. They didn't move or speak. "I said go!" She yelled. Putting her hands in a fist. She was still looking at the ground. They backed up one step. "Why do you want us to leave? We're your friends. We can help you." April said calmly. "Go! I... I-I don't wanna hurt you guys!" A few tears came from her eyes. She could feel the pain forming her chest expanding into the rest of her body. "Ruby we're only trying to help." Explained April. It was 11:59. Then she held her head in agony. She fell on the ground. Her hair turned midnight blue, two fangs started to form in her mouth. Then her nails grew really long and her clothing turned black. "Ruby!" Yelled Raph knowing something was wrongs. You could see the veins in her skin. They were a mix of blue and red. They ran towards her. Black tears came from her eyes. "Run... Before..." Then it turned 12:00. The outside of her pupil came from white to black and her eyes turned blood shot red. Black dust came from her skin. Raph put is hands on her shoulders. "Ruby! It's gonna be ok! Just! Hold on!" She was breathing deeply. Almost like she was gasping for air. "Don't do this to me! I love you ok! Please!" "I...... Love you...... Too..." Then all the black dust went into her forehead. She then slammed everyone against the wall. She had turned into her vampire self. She took out the bloody dagger from out of her pocket. Her face was serious. It showed no emotion. Then she screeched a very high pitched sound. "What happened to Ruby guys?" Asked Mikey worried and sad at the same time. Donnie explained. "She must be mind controlled or something. As soon as that black dust cloud came around she totally blacked out and tried to wipe us out. Maybe every full moon she turns into a-" "Vampire..." Interrupted April. Then suddenly. A bunch of bats came out of nowhere flying everywhere. It was only like about 100 but it looked like a million. April was frozen with fear. You could easily see the fear in her eyes. "It's ok April. I'll protect you." Said Donnie as he stood in front of April with his bow staff out. Then everyone else took our their weapons too. Everyone except Raph. He slowly pulled his sais out. Ruby's face still ha no emotion. She looked like a vampire with the sole of a zombie who was hypnotized. It became a showdown. All of them tried to fight her. But they didn't fight their best. Ruby easily took out all of them. But then they still got in their fighting positions. Ruby didn't say anything. Her plan was to kill them then suck out all of her blood. If the prey was dead, it was more easy to catch. "Ruby this isn't you. Think about you friends. Your family. Everyone you care about. Snap out of it." Said Leo. Ruby still remain emotionless. "Ruby!" Yelled April with tears coming down her cheek. "Why are you like this. Remember who you are!" Ruby knew what was going on. But she couldn't do anything about it. She was doing the things her opposite vampire self did. They kept on fighting. "Ruby we care about you! Come back to us!" Yelled Raph. Then Ruby stopped in her track. Her head was down. She held her weapon down. There was a moment of silence. "If you really care about me then prove it mortals." She said. She had no tone in her voice. "Do we have to? You've seen what we've done with you." Said April. "That's..." Then she walked up to her. "Not evidence!" Then she slammed her into the wall. Then Leo, Mikey, and Donnie charged at her. But then she easily took them out. Then it was just her and Raph. Raph charged at her but instead of an attack it was a kiss. "...!?" He put is arms around her. This was not what she expected at all. Her eyes were wide open in surprise. After a few silent moments he let go of her. Then she started to change back into her old normal self. She was silent. Then she smiled a small smoke while a few tears cane down her face. She hugged him tightly. But let go feeling pain again. A ghost came out of her body. It looked like the vampire she transformed into. "You shall pay useless mortal!" Then she had a bow and arrow. She aimed directly at Raph. She let go of her arrow. "No!" Yelled Ruby. And jumped in front of him. She got shot and killed. The last thing she saw was her past vampire self. Then the whole world gone black. "RUBY!!" Then he got on his knees. "No. No! Ruby you. No!" The ghost vampire gasped. "What have I done?" Then she disappeared into nothingness. She couldn't live without the mortal she used to be with. Everyone soon got up. "Guy's are you ok?" Asked April. "Raph?" Said Leo seeing his depressed brother on his knees. They all ran up to him. The first thing they saw was a dead body that belonged to Ruby. Then they all got on their knees. They were sad. Emotions mixed through the air. "Well, at least she's in a better place." Said Donnie. Though it may have seemed that she was dead. Her spirit still lived in the forest. Forever depressed of the memory of people she loved lost forever... Forever alone... Creeping in the forest. Forever depressed, lost, and alone...
