Levi fingered the mermaid. It was so beautiful. She still couldn't believe that Matthew had spent all that money on her. People normally don't think she's worth it. Lately, Levi has been noticing how cute he is, especially when he stutters. She looked at the clock. Matthew would be there any minute. That was what they did, they would meet at her house and walk to school together. She walked out and joined Matthew.

Matthew smiled when Levi came out. "Hey Levi."
"Hi Matthew. What's up."
"My youth group is going on a retreat next weekend. You should come. Its all paid for."
"Maybe. Its not really my thing though."
THAT NIGHT
Levi thought about Matthews offer. He been trying to get her to go to church. It just didn't seem like her thing. She could tell it would mean a lot to him, But she didn't feel like going. Her dad said he was a Christian too many times.

Matthew sat on his bed thinking about Levi. He even thinking about her a lot lately. She knew he was a Christian and prayed that she would find Christ.

Brian Andrews paste his room. He has noticed. how pretty Levi is recently. He didn't want to but he has. He tried to think about Matthew instead. That kid has guts. In annoyed him.
NEXT DAY
Matthew and Levi were talking about math when Brian passed.
"Hi Brian," Matthew looked at him. Brian stopped short, as if surprised anyone would say hi to him, then left. Levi looked at Matthew, " how can you say hi to him?"
"God asked me to," he shrugged. The bell rang, so they raced to there next class.

When she got home, Levi started her homework. Then she watched The Little House on the Prairie. Matthew had told her about it, so she checked it out. 1 episode and she was hooked.
