Matthew was on his way home from youth group. He started to pray about Levi, that she would come to know Christ as her personal savior. He was praying so hard that he didn't see the truck.

Brian was just hanging with the guys. His older brother, Adam, was driving. Brian was in the passenger seat, with a couple of Adams friends in the back. They just gotten high, bringing Brian for the first time. The older boys weren't paying any attention. Brian suddenly focused and realized that Adam wasn't going to stop and was headed straight for Levi!

Levi's brain was clouded, so she decided to take a walk. She started thinking about Matthews offer about the youth retreat. It sounded like fun, but she wasn't sure about it. Levi was so lost in thought that she didn't realize she was standing in the middle of the road.

"Dude, watch out." Brian jerked the steering wheel, just missing Levi, but spinning out of control.

Bright light entered Levi's vision. She screamed and at the last second the ford barely missed her. There were sparks as it crashed into another car. She dialed 911 and ran over to make sure everyone was alright. She stopped short when the vehicles blew up.

Brian was thrown out of the truck. He felt the gravel dig into his skin, his whole body ached and burned. The last thing he remembered was the explosion.
