Today is July 31st, my birthday. Like none of my family really cares. My real parents died 13 years ago in a freak accident or whatever and my "rents" don't give a shit. I don't even know why I live with them, they aren't related to me or anything. Whatever. I just ended up making myself some cake and eating it in my room.
Suddenly there was a knock at my door. I just thought it was my "parents" so I yelled ,"Go AWAY!" . The person kept knocking so I finally just walked over and opened the door. It was a super old man with these weird half moon glasses. "oh , i'm sorry" I mumbled. He walked past me and sat on mybed, sampling the amazing cake I baked earlier. I was super confused by this old man. Why was he here? Was this another attempt to give me a therapist? Ugh, they are so annoying. "Okay, I don't know why you are here, but if you are here to give me some crap about being 'emo' and lonely, I won't put up with it!" I said definitively. The old guy just chuckled and motioned for me to join him on the bed. I did, against all better judgement. He cleared his throat.
"My name is Albus Dumbledore and I have some news for you."
I scoffed. What new could I possibly have. My life is super boring and average.
"You have a twin brother" He said. I gasped . Could I really have more family? maybe we couldbe like best friends. I began to bombard Dumbledore with questions. What was he like? could I see him? Where was he?
Dumbledore just laughed again. "All in due time." He said between chuckles. He stood and headed for the door. As he walked outside he looked back and said , "by the way, you're a wizard Rowena."
Before we get further into the story I should probably explain what I look like. I have waist length wavy black hair and bright blue eyes. My full name is Rowena Ebony Black Doughty (or that's my "parents" last name) . I am so sarcastic and sassy. I'm super clumsy and always fall down. I'm a loner and don't really have any friends besides my pet cat, Olivia. And apparently I'm a wizard!
