It was a hard day. Of course it was, I mean, everyone was acting strange. I was so relieved when the lunch bell went. I got outside and sat on a picknick table with Keaton, however much I didn't want to. He smirked at me and held up my glasses, then put them away again. I growled at him, but continued to eat my food. After a few minutes I saw that Keaton was watching me. I looked up and glared.

"What?" I snapped. He smiled.

"You're cute when you eat." He grinned. I rolled my eyes at him and then carried on. Other girls and boys eventually came and sat next to us.

"So, Gertrude, why aren't you wearing your glasses today? You look so much prettier without them. You shouldn't wear them at all. And your hair looks nice down too!" Courtney smiled. I rolled my eyes again.

"Because he stole my glasses." I said in disgust. Courtney turned to him.

"That was so smart of you! Now she looks so much better!" She said, and then turned back to me, "hey, can I call you Gabby instead?" I shrugged.

"Call me whatever you want." I said, pissed off that they wouldn't leave me alone. Courtney smiled.

"Great!" She grinned. She finally left, all of them did. It was just me and Keaton again. I was relieved yet annoyed at the same time. We ate in silence, and eventually, I finished first. He was still going at his second sandwich. I sighed and got up, slinging my bag over my shoulder.

"Where are you going?" He asked suspisously.

"Anywhere, as long as it's away from you." I sighed. He sighed too.

"I need to stay with you."

"Why? I can take care of myself, I don't need a protector. Sophie does, go and protect her. Be her fucking hero." I said, turning and leaving. I heard movement behind me. I spun around to tell Keaton to fuck off, but my eyes met a muscly chest. I looked up at Jake, a douche from my form. He smirked at me.

"Hey," he said. I rolled my eyes.

"Get lost Jake." I said, turning and leaving again. He grabbed my arm.

"Come on, get with me?"

"No."

"I won't take no for an answer unless you have a justifiable reason."

"Wow, big boy can talk big words!" I said in a baby voice.

"Come on, give me a reason why not."

"Because she has a boyfriend."I heard a voice say from behind Jake. He turned and uncovered Keaton. I glared.

"Really?" He said to me, an eyebrow raised. This guy wasn't going to leave me alone. Keaton gave me a look which said 'Do it, for your sake.' I rolled my eyes.

"Yeah, Keaton's my boyfriend." I sighed. Jake looked dissapointed, but nodded and then left.

"Awrh, we go out?" Keaton smiled.

"You douche." I hissed. He smirked at me, and then flung his arm around me.

"Come on, babe." He said. I glowered. I hated this bastard.

It was finally the end of dinner.  People had saw us and stressed, asking about when, where, who and how. I had let Keaton tell it all. Apparently, it was on his first day, at home and he asked me. I didn’t really care about it. I kept my mouth shut, totally annoyed. I went to the first lesson of Maths this week. I groaned when I saw Keaton standing at the front. He saw me and grinned wildly. I went to my seat at the back and sat. A boy called Josh leaned over.
