Right guys, I want to get this story finished soon. I do love Gertrude, but I don't want this story to get too long, I'd rather it didn't. So this chapter is about two years later. Gertrude's 18 now, Keaton's 19 and Sophie is 15. Gertrude and her brother are close as they work in the mafia really closely, but other than that not much happened. Keaton and Gertrude had sex a couple times, but you don't want to know about that. They're still not together but they sure do flirt a lot. Keaton figured out he loved Gertrude back, but he doesn't say anything. So yeah, ROLL ON TWO YEARS LATER!
Keaton sat across the bench, his hands on mine. He looked up at me with the saddest eyes ever. For some reason he'd been acting so weird lately. I still loved him, I just didn't admit it anymore. I'd been out with countless boys but broke up with each one because me and Keaton would have done it. I didn't like cheating, but Keaton was so addictive.
"So, Gertrude." He said. I snapped out of my thoughts and looked up at him.
"Yeah?" I asked.
"You know a couple years back, you said that you loved me, right?" He said. I nodded, even though I had become extremely awkward at the thought of it.
"Y-yeah, what about it?" I stammered.
"Do you still have those feelings?" He asked, looking me in the eye. When he gave me that look, a look of pure sadness or, whatever it was, I couldn't lie to him. But I had to, I couldn't let him know.
"Ye-I mean no, no." I said. God dammit, I nearly slipped up! He smiled. Hopefully he hadn't noticed anything.
"Well, I... I..." He looked me in the eye and was about to say something when:
"Keaton! Baby!" An annoying, whiny voice said next to my ear. He looked up at snapped his hand away from mine.
"Christine! Uh, we were just rehearsing for the play, you know... the, uh..." His eyes slipped to my coke can. "Coke play!"
"The coke play?" Christine asked, looking puzzled as she sat down. "Can I be in it?!" She added, her confused look leaving her face. God damn, she was the stupidest piece of shit I'd ever met.
"Oh, sorry baby, they've already assigned everybody parts, you're too late!"
"Is it in school? Can I watch it?!"
"Nah, it's a mafia play I'm afraid!" Keaton said. I burst out laughing, tears seeping out of my eyes. A MAFIA PLAY, oh god, if she believed that she should have gotten the 'Stupidest Bitch of the Year Award'.
"Since when did the mafia do plays?" She asked, a look of utter and complete stupidity on her face.
"Since, ever! It's nearly Chirstmas, we always have a play at Christmas, I got Gertrude into it!" He laughed. I glared at him and then looked back to Christine. The look of stupidity had gone.
"Oh!" She said. I stood up and looked at Keaton.
"You're lucky she's stupid as fuck." I spat, before storming off.
"Who was she talking about?" I heard Christine's whiny voice say before I became out of earshot.
Once I arrived home, I slammed my bedroom door and got out my laptop. I had to contact Lawernce, but I had lost his number. I went onto facebook, luckily he was online.
Gertrude Boa: Hey Lawernce, two things, give me your number again and arrange a meeting at the waterfall? I need some gang action!
Lawernce: Yeah, sure I'll arrange it and I'll just text you my number again, I'm not stupid and I didn't loose yours!;D
I rolled my eyes and then stood up, grabbing a bottle of Mountain Dew and heading out of the door. I walked to the waterfall and then jumped down into the cave. Lawernce was waiting, along with other gang members. I sat on the most comfortable rock and smiled.
"Well, kids, I think it's about time we had a fight."
