I woke up on the kitchen floor. Keaton was beside me, Mum's body was gone. He looked extremely worried about me. Gerard was gone too. Keaton wasn't looking at my face, he was looking at my stomach. I looked at it and saw the scar that was forming. I rolled my stomach and Keaton shrieked.

"Where's Mum?"

"Hospital."

"Gerard?"

"Where'd you get that from? Gerard hasn't been here in weeks." Keaton said, his eyes narrowed.

"But.. the green glow... the arms... the life?" I asked.

"What are you on about? You must have been dreaming when you fainted."

"What happened?"

"Your mum dropped into your arms, told you not to kill anyone, and then she closed her eyes and you fainted." Keaton explained.

"Thank god... That was a freaky dream..." I sighed. Keaton picked me up and hugged me tight.

"Thank god you're alright." He whispered. My heart was on the verge on melting towards him, so I pushed him away and stood up. I left the house, Keaton's soft words echoing through my head. I went straight to the hole in the bushes. I went through it and saw James on the computer through the window. I knocked on it softly and he looked up, smiling. He came to the window and opened it.

"Hey there, wanna come in?"

"My mum just died." I gasped, falling into his arms. He pulled me inside and squeezed tightly.

"Every things going to be alright."

"It's just me and Sophie now. Gerard won't care." I screamed into his shoulder.

"Sophie? Gerard?" James asked, pulling away and looking at me.

"Sophie and Gerard are my siblings.."

"Sophie who? Sophie Boa is actually your sister?" James said, gasping.

"Y-yeah. Don't tell anyone though.. She doesn't like anyone knowing that her sister is a geek."

"You're not a geek! You're perfect." He whispered into me, his voice soft. I looked up at him and he smiled. I leaned in and pressed my lips against his, but found myself missing Keaton, so I pulled away. Keaton's lips were... soft, and they moulded with mine. James', however, were hard and clumsy, trying to find a way to kiss me properly, but failing.

"I-I better go..." I stammered, walking away.

"Wait!" James began,

"No, I need to go." I mumbled, before climbing out the window and running through the gap in the bush. I ran inside and up to my room. I couldn't believe I missed Keaton already! A knock on the downstairs door interrupted my thoughts, so I ran down to answer it. A girl with white hair, a nose, lip and eyebrow piercing stood with a backpack that had the Union Jack printed on it. She smiled at me.

"Hi, I think I may have the wrong house... But I'm looking for Heather Boa?" The girl asked. My heart tightened at the sound of my dead mothers name.

"S-she's not here. S-she's dead." I whispered, my voice hoarse.

"Oh!" The girl said, her eyes filled with sympathy for me.

"Who are you?" I asked, my eyes narrowed.

"My name is Megan. My mum's dead too. She had me very young, and kept me as a secret. And then I ran away, came back to find out she was dead. My mum's name was Anna Electric.. So.. Megan Electric, nice to meet you." She said, sticking out a hand. I shook in. Anna Electric. My mum always spoke about Anna, Megan, Fern and Skye.

"So your mum named you after her best friend?" I asked. Megan nodded.

"Seems so. I wish I knew what my mum looked like, when I ran away, I forgot what she looked like.." Megan said, a tear running down her cheek.

"One second, come in." I said, turning and running upstairs. I rummaged through Mum's things until I found a picture of her with her friends when they were seventeen. I grabbed it and ran downstairs. Megan grabbed the picture and looked at it. Her finger slammed down on the one with bright blue hair.

"That's her. That's my mum. She was so beautiful. Which one's Megan?" She asked. I pointed to the gothic one.

"How did your mum hide being pregnant? I mean, look at her! She's so skinny..."

"She left school for a year. Got a c-section as soon as I was ready, and then hid me in her attic, where her Mum cared for me." Megan said, another tear rolling down her cheek.

"I'm so sorry!" I said, pulling her into a hug. She thankfully accepted it and squeezed me.

"My mum was a great girl. However, really sad. Her best friend, Skye was an emo-" I pointed to the girl with white hair on the picture, who was looking sad.

"That's Skye." I said.

"Right, and mum was so thin... I thought she would die of Anorexia but-"

"Wait.."

"What?"

"L-let me call some-one." I said, grabbing my phone and calling Gerard.

"What?" His deep voice said,

"Mum said something about a woman named Anna a couple years back, what was it?"

"That she was the only one Fern left alive?" Gerard yawned. I gasped, hanging up on him.

"She's still alive!" I grinned.

"Really?! No way!" Megan screamed.

"Yeah! Come on, let's find her!"

"Wait, what's your name?"

"Gertrude, but call me Trudy." I laughed.

"Okay! So.. let's find my mum!" She laughed, pulling me up out of the chair and then out of the house.

"Excited?" I asked, laughing.

"I get to meet my mum, of course I'm excited!" Megan half-screamed half-laughed.

"Well, I think I may know where to find her." I said, grabbing Megan's hand and pulling her down the road.

A couple of streets away, we arrived outside a house. It wasn't very well cared for, with broken windows and busted down doors. I gulped. This house used to belong to Joe, my mothers true love, before he died. I walked through the door frame and Megan followed me.

"You sure this is safe?" Megan whispered, scared.

"Never said I was." I stated. She gulped, but carried on walking. We walked up the creaking steps and into his old bedroom. It was the best room of the house. No broken windows, the door was still up, the bedroom furniture was still in place, as well as a camping stove and a few necessities. A skinny woman then walked through the door. She spotted us and grabbed a gun, pointing it at us.

"Who are you?" She screamed, her voice like she hadn't used it in years.

"I-I'm Megan Electric." Megan stuttered, shocked by the apperance of her mother.

"And I'm Gertrude Boa." I said. The shock on Anna's face was...
