I eventually returned home. Gerard had gone. Courtney had too and she had taken all of her clothes. Gerard had told Mum to tell me that he was sorry. I didn't care. He took the one thing I've ever wanted, so I had no care in the world for him. I went upstairs and opened my wardrobe. New clothes, lots and lots of new clothes. I picked a pair of skinny jeans out, sky blue, and placed them on my chair. I picked out a black, skin-tight top and a purple hoodie and placed them on top of the skinny jeans. I then grabbed a pair of rainbow socks, onto the pile, and then put some white converse with green laces underneath the chair. I looked at the time. 1 in the morning. I gasped and quickly got changed. I pulled myself into bed, and then fell asleep under my warm, warm covers.

I woke up to the shrill ring of my alarm clock. I sighed and stopped it. I went downstairs and grabbed some food and ate it quickly. Keaton was eating his slowly and I saw my glasses in his pocket. I rolled my eyes, but carried on. I went to the fridge and grabbed a Mountain Dew. I took it upstairs and put it in my bag. I ran into the shower and showered quickly, drying my hair and straightening it, for once. I put it up in a bobble while I brushed my teeth and got dressed. I filled my bag up with the books I needed for that day and then brushed my hair-again. I shoved a mini hairbrush with a fold-out mirror into my bag and then Sophie opened my door.

"Give us a ride?" She asked. I nodded and then Keaton shoved his head round the door.

"And me?" He asked, flashing me his best smile. I sighed, and then nodded. He grinned. I pulled the bag onto my shoulder and then grabbed my car keys. Courtney was outside, leaning against her car.

"Hey, want a ride with me?" She asked.

"Nah," I said, "I've got to give these loosers a ride." Sophie hit me and smiled, so I smiled back. Keaton stayed silent. When I looked at him, he looked hurt.

"Okay," Courtney said, "can I catch a ride then?" I nodded.

"Sure," I said, then I lowered my voice. "I didn't mean it," Keaton nodded, and smiled. I smiled back and then jumped into my car. Courtney was next to me, Sophie and Keaton in the back. I pulled out and drove to school. Courtney said she'd pick her car up after school, so she'd need another ride from me. I agreed, not really caring. We arrived at school and Courtney and Sophie hurried off to their friends. Keaton leaned forward.

"Ready for this?" He asked.

"What?" I growled. He turned my head towards him and I could see people watching. His lips crashed against mine. I accepted it this time, even though I wanted to be sick in his mouth. He broke away from me and grinned.

"See ya later, babe." He then jumped out the car.

"Bastard."

The day passed without fail, even though it was pretty boring. Courtney and her friends were all talking about my hair, my clothes and how pretty my eyes were. I didn't listen, just smiled and thanked them.  Eventually, dinner came. Luckily, Sophie was keeping Courtney’s attention. Keaton was eating at his usual table, but he had made friends and they were sitting around him, talking about football or something. Keaton’s eyes were fixed on his sandwich, so he probably wasn’t listening. He looked up and caught me staring. He grinned sheepishly and excused himself from the table, making his way towards me. Wolf whistles came from behind him as he walked over. I smiled at them, but replaced it with a scowl when they could no longer see me.

“What?” I snapped. He grinned.

“I was just wondering if you’d like to go for a date this Saturday, at The Red Lion?” He asked.

“Why? Who’s going to be there?”

“No-one, I just want us to go on a date.”

“Why?”
