Alyssa sat across from Sophie. They were looking at eachother, awkwardly. They'd been like this for an hour and had never said a word. I didn't really want to ask why, but it was intruiging. Keaton was upstairs probably fucking Christine, I didn't know and I didn't care. Suddenly, Sophie stood.
"Right, I have some friends to call." She said, hurrying upstairs. Alyssa turned to me when Sophie was out of earshot.
"Well if that wasn't awkward, I don't know what is." She said.
"What went down between you two for it to be so awkward?" I asked.
"Me and Sophie used to be best friends, she told me everything and I told her everything, and then we fell out and... I don't know." She said. I was just about to say something when Christine came downstairs, crying. She looked up at me.
"KEATON JUST DUMPED ME BECAUSE HE LOVES SOME-ONE ELSE, I HATE YOU GERTRUDE BOA!" She screamed.
"What?" I said, completely confused. Keaton came running downstairs.
"Christine, just go! Please!" He said. She laughed.
"Why?! So you can hide your feelings for Gertrude?! Gertrude, Keaton loves you! There, I got it over with, now go fuck her." She cried, before running out of the house. Keaton looked at me and smiled sheepishly.
"Um... Yeah..." He said, before going to turn around, but I stood up and caught his arm, swinging him back around. I hugged him tightly.
"I love you too." I said. I felt him smile and he hugged me back, before letting go and looking at me, getting down on one knee. My heart began to race.
"Gertrude Boa, will you marry me?" He said, his voice wavering as if he were about to cry. I gasped.
"Yes! Yes"

Well.... what do you think?! Gertrude and Keaton, getting married:')! This isn't the last chapter, even though it's very short, although this chapter is the 'end' of the story. The chapters to come are just shorts from their lives.
