A tropical journey in Alola!

Chapter 5 : On the edge of life and death

The building fell onto Aria and Lana while everybody outside was shocked. Professor Sycamore called an ambulance and the firefighters to come save Aria and Lana because they both don't deserve to die...
Both of them were rescued but they were hurt very badly and in danger.

Mallow : I really hope they're ok... I will kill myself if one of them dies...
Serena : Don't say that! They will make it! I'm sure of it. Well, I hope I am...
Samuel Oak : The doctors are still researching Lana but they say they already said that she is in big danger... The chances of survival for Lana are very little... But they can't research Aria yet because there are no doctors left at the moment.
Mallow : Noooooo! They won't die! They can't! Mallow starts to cry as Serena tries to calm Mallow down, but it doesn't help...
Doctor : We've researched Lana and it doesn't look good for her, the first 24 hours are crucial... Even then. The chance that she survives is very small. It's possible she dies every minute. So, if you want, you can go to her room and say goodbye if you think she won't survive...
Serena : I want to see her... She's our friend!
Mallow : I'm going with you Serena, it's my fault after all, I have to apologize to Lana.
Everybody was looking at Lana, who was not even moving a centimeter. She looked pretty dead already.
Mallow : I'm sorry Lana, I brought you into danger. Don't die, my friend. She kissed Lana's head softly.
Serena : Don't leave us already Lana, I only know you for like 3 days... We can't be separated this early!
Then they brought in Aria, who also was on the edge of  life and death.
Samuel Oak : Look at them, it's like they're in a deep sleep...
*BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIP*
Mallow : What is happening? WHAT IS HAPPENING?
Doctor : I'm sorry to say, but Miss Aria is dead... 
Mallow : Noooooooo!
Lana : What's happening... I don't remember anything...
Serena : Lana, you're alive! Thank god! 
Mallow : Aria... I'm sorry... I'm really sorry... It's all my fault...
Serena : It's not your fault Mallow! Your oven was broken, it's really not your fault!
Delia : Serena and Ash! Are you OK?!?
Serena : Delia... We are OK, but Aria just died from the fire...
Delia : I'm so sorry Serena... But you're OK, I'm happy about that.
Doctor : We have to some autopsy first, we need to find the cause of death so that can be put in the medical report. We are taking her away from you now.
Samuel Oak : Ok Doctor. You bring us news right?
Doctor : Of course Sir. That's my duty. 
Mallow : Take a good rest Aria, You will find rest in heaven, bye... Mallow then begins to cry and Serena isn't able to calm her down... And then Ash, Sawyer and Kiawe come in after they put out the fire at school.
Kiawe : Hey guys... How are the girls doing..?
Serena : Lana is fine I think but Aria just died...
Ash : You're kidding right? She's fine, they are probably researching on her!
Serena : I'm not kidding, she just died, 10 minutes ago...
Ash : I'm so sorry Serena... but another problem. She was the kalos queen right, shouldn't we inform Palermo? Palermo is Aria's mentor after all....
Serena : That's right... Imma call her right now...

Palermo : Hey Serena! How is it girl, learning new things in Alola?
Serena : Palermo... I have to tell you something very important...
Palermo : What is it girl? Tell me.
Serena : There was a fire at our school, and because of that...
Palermo : What happened Serena?
Serena : Aria died Palermo! She died in the hospital!
Palermo : She died...? Did she really die? That can't be, the kalos queen can't die like that!
Serena : I know that Palermo! She can't die, but she did... She wasn't ready for this battle... Do you have her pokémon?
Palermo : Yes, why?
Serena : You have to tell them. They have the right too to process this.
Palermo : I will tell them straight away. Then we will come to Alola as soon as possible.
Serena : OK, we will see you here.

A few days have passed and in the hospital, Lana is still recovering from the accident but it's going bad with her. Not physically but emotionally. She doesn't know how to handle Aria's death. They don't know anything yet about Aria's death cause because the doctors are still researching her. But suddenly, the doctor stands there at the door.

Doctor : Hello Lana, is everything OK...?
Lana : I'm fine...
Doctor : So everybody, we've found the cause of death of Aria. And she actually was dying slowly from your school till she actually died here. She died because her heart was hurt very badly and it slowly was dying. And when it died, Aria couldn't live anymore of course. She died very peacefully.
Serena : That's a relief. She probably have pain while she died. She's in a better place right now.
Mallow : I hope so...
Serena : We have to go now, Delia is waiting on me and your parents are probably waiting too...
Mallow : Yeah! Let's leave Lana alone! You moron! Go then! Go home! I'm staying here with Lana!
Serena : Fine! If you're so mean, then I'll go!
Lana : Don't fight... I don't want a fight between you 2...
Mallow : It's her own fault! You know that people shouldn't talk about my parents! It gets me very emotional!
Lana : Mallow... Serena didn't even know that your parents died! It's not her fault!
Mallow : IT IS HER FAULT! SHE SHOULDN'T HAVE TALKED ABOUT MY PARENTS! THAT'SO MEAN!

Delia : Hey Serena.. How's Lana doing...?
Serena : She's doing fine I guess.
Delia : When are you going back?
Serena : Not as long as Mallow's still there....!
Delia : Do you guys have a fight? What happened? You look so angry!
Serena : I said we should leave because you and her parents were waiting on us! And then all of a sudden, she got very angry!
Delia : She probably has a very good reason to get angry. We just don't know that reason...
Serena : I'm going upstairs, where's Ash?
Delia : He's in the park with friends. Why?
Serena : Because I really want to be alone now. I can't take anyone in my room right now... See you for dinner Delia.
Delia : See you for dinner Serena...

Samuel Oak : Hello everybody. We've all come together to say goodbye to our beloved teacher, the beloved kalos queen but most of all our most beloved person Aria. She was so lively,  and so happy all the time! I've known her for 3 years now....

Next chapter, we will all say goodbye to Aria. The day of release will be announced a day or 2 before and it will be in the weekend. So we can have our national "Bye Aria" day.  I'm really sorry for bringing in the drama but in the end this is a drama story and so there must be drama. See you next chapter!
