We were meant for each other

Chapter 5

The runningmen bow to eachother and the staffs to wish everyone a good night and make their leaving. In the crowd, Gary try to read for Jihyo's reaction, but sure enough she show nothing on her face. JongKook and JaeSuk approach to him.

JongKook pats on Gary's back.

JongKook: Waiting for Jihyo? Give her some time, things wouldn't solve in a minute.  

JaeSuk: You should go home and rest, you look extremely tired today. Things will be better tomorrow.

With no choice, Gary bows goodbye to his hyungs and leave with a sorrow heart.

JaeSuk: JongKook ah, keep your eyes on him.

JongKook: I will hyung, seeing them like this make me worry.

JaeSuk: Just call me if anything happen, ok?

JongKook: Alasseo! Good night to you hyung! Be careful on your way home.

JaeSuk: Oh! You too.

Gary didn't sleep at all that night, he keep thinking about Jihyo. He just couldn't find a right answer to comforted himself.  Without his noticing, the new morning comes. Gary get out of bed, washes himself up, eats breakfast and head back to his office. He reaches his office earlier than usual, even his co-workers are surprised. Not long after, Gil comes with an excitement.

Gil: Morning bro! So how's it going? 

Gary makes no comment, just sitting at his desk, playing with a pen in his hand.

Gil: Seem like you haven't get the answer.

Gil just walks out of the room, leaving Gary behind. Gary takes out his phone, search for Jihyo's number and feel hesitant if he should call or text Jihyo. This feeling is really killing him, finally he takes a deep breath, takes all the courage and send Jihyo a message.

*To: Mong Jihyo

You free today, wanna meet up for lunch? Oppa's treat at my restaurant.

Meantime, Jihyo still in her dreamland. Her phone rings, a message from Gary. Jihyo unwillingly creep out of her blanket to grabbed the phone. Doubting for a while, she accepted Gary's invatation.

*To: Gary Oppa

Ok! I'll be there in about 30 minutes.

She hurry get herself out of bed, wash herself up, dress with simple clothes, simple make up plus a pair of black sunglasses and a hat. Jihyo leaves her house around 11:30am, she get to Leessang's restaurant by 12pm.  In order to make them both comfortable, Gary is waiting for her on the 2nd floor with no customer at all. Gary's sitting by himself at the corner, grilling the beef while waiting for her arrival. Jihyo makes light steps toward Gary

Jihyo: OPPA...! ^0^

Gary: Oh...! Yah Song Jihyo, you scared me! Hurry and take a sit.

Jihyo: Wow...Oppa! You ordered too many foods.

Gary: You are Song Jihyo with big stomach, I was planning to order more though.

Jihyo's face let out a bright smile.

Jihyo: So oppa, what do you wanna talk?

Gary: Ah....ah!!!! Eat this piece.. (his heart  is beating so fast that he thought he can't breath)

Jihyo: Meo-eyo? Something important (Jihyo speaks with a full mouth)

Gary: Ah....about....

Jihyo seem to senses what Gary is about to say, she say suddenly.

Jihyo: About you kissed a fan girl?

Gary: O..oh! How do you know what I gonna say?

Jihyo: Jinja! Why should you did that oppa? >:(

Gary is even shocker by her words.

Gary: Waeyo? It was just a fan service! 

Jihyo just keep eating with an angry face, doesn't care what Gary said. 

Jihyo: You really like to flirt with girls huh? The Kang Gary I knew wasn't like this.

Garyo: Wae Jihyo ah? Oppa can't do it!

Jihyo: Cuz.... (Jihyo stops suddenly while Gary is focusing on her next phrase)

Gary's POV: Please Jihyo ah, please! Tell me you care, tell me you are jealous! (Praying inside of him)

Abruptly, Jihyo excuses herself and leaving Gary behind. She drives to Han River, shut the car's engine, sitting inside and start thinking what just happened. She still confused about her feeling for Gary. The more she thinks, the more she can't understand.

Jihyo's POV: What is happening with me? This is Gary oppa's business. Why do I care? Why did I get mad at him when we talked about it? (Silent for a while and she start realizing) Maybe...I...like...Gary oppa?............I like him???
