Chapter 23

After a delicious dinner with families, deserts are ready to be next. Gary who is sitting next to Jihyo near the end of the table, excuses himself to the balcony. He lifts up his head to take a distance view to the Han River which still load with busy car lights from both directions at this night time. Followed behind is Jihyo, she slowly approaches toward Gary.

Jihyo: Oppa! You ok? (back-hugging him and askes with her worry voice)

Gary: Uhm....I think so...

Jihyo: You still worry about the package earlier! (leaning her head to Gary's back)

Gary: I can't help it! It keep bothering me. (holds her hands from the front of his waist)

JaeSuk and JongKook appear from nowhere. JaeSuk surprises the MC with his loud voice.

JaeSuk: Yah! KANG GARY, SONG JIHYO! SHOWING OFF AGAIN? kekeke

Jihyo: Oh! Oppa, you scared me! (breaks the back hug immediately)

JaeSuk notices a worry look in Gary's face.

JaeSuk: Mueo-yah~ Gary ah, you angry at us because we broke your romantic moment?

Gary: Aniyo hyung-nim, why would I get mad at that?

JaeSuk: Then what happened? You look depressed through.

Jihyo standing beside, grasps a hold to Gary's hand, like asking Gary to tell them the matter. Because they are the big hyungnims whom the dongsaengs can rely on. 

Gary: This morning,.....I arrived at Jihyo's home and another package got delivered. 

JaeSuk and JongKook are paying closely attention to MC.

Gary: We opened it and see this (Gary takes out a photo from the package and show it to JaeSuk)

JaeSuk: Oh! Your face got torn out!!!

JongKook: Yah~....Gary ah, have you ever think to report this to the police?

JongKook speaks up for Jihyo's mind, even she didn't said it before. Jihyo turned to Gary for an answer. 

Gary: Nope! I wanna catch him with my own hands.

Jihyo: Oppa! Michyeosseo!!! 0.0 

JaeSuk: Gary ah, this is becomes more serious than we think already. 

Hearing the noise from outside, the other three members also make their appearances.

JongKook: Gary ah, you decided to do so?

Gary: Yeah! Hyungnim.

JongKook: You know you are risking your life! And how about Jihyo?

Gary takes a look at Jihyo and say

Gary: I know and I will protect Jihyo at any cost! (Determinated)

While JaeSuk is busy explaining to the betrayal club and the picture.

Haha: Hyung, this is dangerous!

JaeSuk: Gary ah, no matter what your decision is. We all will support you till the end! 

Everyone nodd their heads as they agree with what JaeSuk said.

From this moment, everyone knows they will have their eyes on the MC. Always be available if Gary and Jihyo needed help. Serious business is putting in place.

Gary: Jihyo ah! Why don't you go inside to help the sister in laws! (abruptly)

Jihyo: Wae? I can't hear your conversation.

SukJin: Jihyo ah, just go. We need so man talk over here!

Jihyo feels frustrated but she still has to leave. On her way back inside, she keep turns around to take a glance at the men.

JongKook: You have something else wanna tell us? 

Gary lets out a long sighed before he continues.

Gary: Hyungnims, please help me to take care of Jihyo if....

SukJin: YAH! DON'T SAY SOMETHING LIKE THAT.... (warning Gary)

KwangSoo: Ey~~~ hyung, nothing will happen to you. Don't worry!

Gary: How do you know? I'm saying this just in case.

Haha: Forget about it, hyung. We all here for you! Remember! You will catch him for sure. (Bro-hug)

Everyone keep giving Gary the positive energy, but even Gary is feeling uneasy already. 

Gary's POV: Geulaeyo! There is nothing much I can worry for now. The only thing I know that I need to give Jihyo happiness. Molela~ What comes will come.

Gary: Done discussion! Should we go back inside for another drink.

KwangSoo: Jo-ah!!! Gaja!!! (Applauding)

Just for tonight, Gary left all of his worries behind that balcony and enjoy the time with his runmates.
