Authors note- Hey guys I have never shared a fan fic before so I am sorry if it is bad. But I hope you enjoy it. This is a Bars and Melody fan fic.

Chapter 1 ~ Lydia's pov
I smile as I put my phone down. Leo always makes me so happy. I don't know what I would do without him. He is the best friend ever. I grab my hairbrush and brush my hair, then put it into cute pig tails. I run down the stairs and grab some toast. Then my little brother comes in the room.
"Morning Lydia!" He shouts. He looked like he had been crying. I wonder why? But he was trying to act like he was ok. I hope he's alright.
"Morning Jamie." I smile. Then I realise the time. I might miss my bus. I shout bye to my family and run to the bus stop just in time to see people scrambling to get on the bus. I jump on the bus and look for Leo and Charlie. They are sitting with a girl around Charlie's age. I wonder who she is. She kind of reminds me of Skye. But Skye doesn't get the bus so it's not Skye. I walk over and Leo pats his legs. I sit down on his lap and look at the girl with Charlie.
"Hey Lydia how are you?" She asks. It is Skye. She must have stayed at Charlie's last night cos we normally go round each other's houses.
"Hey Skye! I'm good and you?" I reply. I can't wait for tonight it's the school disco and I'm going with Leo because it's only for our year. Charlie says he will DJ the disco so he doesn't miss out on the disco. But I don't know if he'll be aloud. Oh well I'll survive with just Leo.
"I'm good. I can't believe I'm actually moving. It's gonna be great. I mean I will miss you lot. But I will get to see more of my family!" Skye says. Wait since when has Skye been moving. Great, poor Charlie. He has always secretly loved Skye and now she's moving. She is so bad at going on her phone so basically when she moves I will never hear from her again. But she seems excited.
"Where abouts are you moving." I ask because it could be somewhere like 3 hours away.
"Spain! I can't wait. The house even has its own pool!" She replies almost squealing. She sounds so excited.
"Nice! I hope I can visit!" I say trying to sound pleased. Ok maybe my day won't be as good as I hoped. The bus stops and we climb off.
"Bye guys!" Leo and I shout walking towards year 9 block.
"Are you Ok?" Leo asks. He always knows when something is wrong. How can I hide when I'm sad, when Leo is always there and can guess my feelings.
"Not really." I reply. "When I got up I was so excited about the day and then Jamie had been crying and I don't know why. Then I got on the bus and find out Skye is moving. But worst of all I think my parents are gonna split up." I'm almost crying by now and Leo is hugging me and rubbing my back. I look like a mess. I know I can trust Leo. That is why I told him.
"Oh Lydia. You know I'm here for you and don't worry about Skye." He said. Of course he is here for me. If he wasn't I don't know where I would be. I love him sooooooo much and he is the best friend in the whole world. I know he said not to worry about Skye but when she leaves will Charlie stop hanging out with us. I don't want Skye to leave. But I do want what's best for her.
"Thanks Leo, you're the best!" I smile wiping away tears.
"Why thank you." He laughs. I punch him playfully on the arm and then we walk to first lesson. I look at his beautiful brown eyes and smile to myself. How did I ever get a best friend like Leo? We arrive at first lesson, science, I sit so far away from Leo in science. It's not fair. I have to sit next to some boy that picks on me. Just a great way to start my already fabulous day. Note the sarcasm. I go over to my seat and look out the window. I don't ever focus when I'm worried. But then I feel my arm being pinched. I look up and see Leo.
"Hey Leo what you doing over here?" I ask unsure what was going on.
"Well if you weren't daydreaming you would know that we have to be in pairs of our choice for this 2 month project." He replied sarcastically. Oh yay. I get to sit with Leo in science for the next two months. Ok maybe my day will get better. At break I run to the canteen and sit at the normal lunch table waiting for everyone to appear. Charlie comes in and sits beside me like normal. Then Skye comes in with a boy who must be in sixth form.
"Hey guys, this is Rocky. He is my boyfriend. Yeah I know you are all thinking 'but you aren't gonna be here next week' well it just happens to be that Rocky has family in the town that I am moving to and is moving two months after me but goes there every holiday." Skye says before sitting down on his lap. Charlie looks at me. I smile at him.
"Lydi, do you know where Leo is?" Charlie asks. He only calls me Lydi when he is winding me up or when he needs space from people.
"Erm, no. Do you wanna go look for him?" I say. He nods and smiles at me. We stand up.
"Where you guys going?" Skye asks.
"Leo hunt!" I exclaim, it sounds as if I want to hunt for Leo. I mean I do but I need to know if Charlie is ok. She laughs at me and then tells us to hurry as she wants to see her fave Devries. We walk out the canteen.
"What's up Charlie?" I ask him taking him to the bench round the back of the school.
"Well Skye is just messing with my feelings and I don't know if I can trust her anymore. We almost kissed at my house yesterday. Then she told me she was moving and I started to cry. But then she laughed at me and said I was a fool for crying. Now she is with some other guy." Charlie cried, breaking down in my arms. I hug him. I feel so sorry for him. Then my phone buzzes. I have a text. It's from an unknown number. It says: Hey honey. You might want to watch what you say. X
What the heck does that even mean. I reply with: who r u? Also wat do u mean.
I look at Charlie who is still crying and then at my phone. My phone has another text from the same number: Meet me at the park at 9pm and I'll give you more detail. X
What on earth. Should I go. Yeah I'm going to see who this is.
