I decided to carry on with this story, but I'm sorry if it isn't great as I'm not a very good writer. X
Chapter 9~ Lydia's PoV
It's Monday. It's a school day. It's also 4.30am. Anyway. I haven't slept all weekend and I feel quite tired. It's not cos I can't sleep. It is because of that dream the other day. And they were right, pain and fear is all I've felt. My father's court case has been booked and I have a feeling he will come back to us. Leo has been really blunt on texts and I haven't met up with him all weekend. I fell down the stairs yesterday morning and broke my leg. I hope today will be better. I might as well have a shower and get ready for the day.
I step into the shower. Normally it would be perfect temperature but not today. It is ice cold. I swear I can even see a few icicles. I fiddle with the temperature of the water but it just won't go right. So I have a 30 second icy shower. I change and then sit on my bed. Maybe I should have joined the devil. My life would have been loads easier. Maybe I should text auntie Alesha. She always knows what to do.

Hey, I need some help. I have gotten in trouble and I really don't know what to do. It all started the other day, my father tried to rape me, my boyfriend is hiding a secret from me and I had a really awful dream. Now bad things have started happening. I don't know what to do. Please can you give me some advice.

She is probably still asleep, it is only 4:35am and it's Monday.  I'm not so tired now. I might as well just read a book. I can't find a book to read. Oh yes! I will read the fault in our stars. I love that book so much. It's about a girl with lung cancer who meets a boy with leg cancer, but he had his leg amputated and now has a prosthetic leg. They fall in love and meet the girls favourite author, who turns out to be horrible. They go through a tough time and it is a great book. I'm not going to spoil the ending for you, but it is an amazing book. I'm about halfway through the book when my phone buzzes.

Hey little one, you didn't wake me. Do you want me to ring you and we can discuss it all? It doesn't sound very fun. I never liked your father, especially not after he repeatedly raped and abused your mother. I hope the secret your boyfriend is keeping is for a reason, I'm sure it's nothing bad. Azuka only keeps secret surprises from me, nothing bad. We all have awful dreams, the thing to do is not to let it get the better of you and ignore it. Show the world that you are strong, even when you feel weak. I know it ain't easy, but that's okay. Just be hopeful.

She always knows how to make me feel better. She is right, I should be hopeful. I ring her. She picks up.
Alesha: Hey sweetie, spill everything.
Me: Hi Alesha. It started last week. I went to the school disco and then met up in the park with someone who had text me earlier in the day. It was my idiot of a father. I managed to escape. I heard him say that he would get me one day. Then later in the evening my boyfriend, Leo, was whispering with my best friend, Charlie, I heard them say something about being nervous and excited about Friday. Then on Saturday I text Leo and he told me that he had done nothing on Friday. It's just so confusing.
Alesha: Your father is an idiot. Don't listen to him, they won't let him come back to you sweetie. And I'm sure that Leo is not hiding anything too big from you. We all have secrets, he will tell you when he is ready. You need to let things go darling. Otherwise you will just get stressed.
Me: Thanks Auntie Leesha. That's made me feel better.
Alesha: Well then I'm gonna let you get ready for school now. You know where I am if you need me.
Leo's PoV
I hate keeping this from Lydia. I'm not a good liar, so I have kind of avoided her all weekend. That may sound pretty stupid, but I didn't want to spill it to her accidentally. Thankfully they are airing the episode with us on Saturday. So I just have to wait a week to tell her. I can do this.
I walk through the school gates and head to the building.
"Oi! Leondreeeeee! Money? NOW!" Oh god. I hope this stops soon. Wait for it. SMACK! SMACK! That was the sound his hand makes as it impacts my face. I give him my money and he slaps me again.
"I hope you learn your lesson, dummy!" He taunts waving the money, that was mine, in front of my face. Then he spins round and strolls off, leaving me standing here clutching my face like an idiot. But maybe that's what I am.
