Chapter 7. Old is gold?

I stepped out of the coffee shop and started driving back.

"Where to Nars?" I asked myself

I grabbed the list that Emma gave and I decided to pick one at random.

"Eenie meenie Mum..." My heart stopped I felt afraid but that's what got chosen.

I stood there as the house my home stood in front of me. I swore to never come back yet here I am... I couldn't do it I had to leave I had...

"Nara?"

That voice one my favourite voices. My pulse quickened I couldn't breath I couldn't talk I couldn't. I turned around as she was in front of me. I looked at her she studied me but before I could do anything... I fell into her arms. I wanted to hit her but I didn't find it in my heart. I was in her arms I felt safe. She held me close. I couldn't help it I cried.

The tears fell on her warm jumper. Her scent reminded me of her. I hugged her hard.

"I'm sorry mum!!!" I wailed

"No darling I am my baby!!!"

No matter happens she was always there she was my mother she was the only thing in my life I could trust. De was my mum.

My heart ached from all the pain that I had bottled up. I had my mum again.
Her hug soothed me as she wiped of my tears and took me inside.

"Honey finally your-" Leo stopped

"Nara?"

"Hi Leo!"

"Is this some virtual way of talking on the phone or?" He asked

"No Leo it's me!"

I couldn't help myself as I hugged him hard.

"Thanks for coming back darling!" He whispered

"Thanks for taking care of her I'm sorry..."

My heart was fragile to fragile I couldn't finish the sentence. I wanted scream. I wanted my mum and I wanted my family. I was fragile. They held me close and just for a moment I felt like a girl who had everything.

"Come back tomorrow baby!" Leo and Mum shouted.

"Ok!"

"Oh mum... How's Lydia?"

Mums face became pale. I could see the pain through her bloodshot eyes. How could I of left her like this. Leo held her close as she replied.

"Hopefully somewhere safe baby..."

I held her close

"I am so sorry!"

"No matter what you do Nara I will always forgive you your my baby there hasn't been one day I thought of you two. I knew you would come back to me someday!"

I let her go and got back in the car. It was now 3 and I had two more hours. So I headed there to his place the person who really started this. The person I called my father.

I knocked on the door holding myself together.

"Nara!" Zac shouted

"Hey baby!"

I picked him up and give him a big wet kiss.

"Mummy daddy Nara came!"

"Did you come for my bday!" He asked eagerly

"Yes how did you know?"

"Because your my big sister so it's the sibling law!"

"Wow really?"

"Nara!" Audrey came looking perfect as ever

Keep it together Nara. I was focused on her studying her. I looked around the house analysing what my next move should be.

"Come in how are you?"

"Great thanks!"

I fake smiled at her.

"Are you staying long."

"Actually no I just came to wish my little brother and give him his present."

Yes I had a present what he didn't do anything wrong besides he was my lil bro.

"Wow, thanks sis luv you!"

I stood frozen as he said those words replaying in my head over and over again.

"You love me?"

"Of course your my sister do you love me?"

"Yes very much!"

"Nara?"

Keep it tog- fuck fuck. My temper rose up higher and higher my hands clenched together as I looked straight at me.

"Well great seeing you all must be going and I'll see you at the birthday party Zac."

"You're coming!"

"Yes of course!"

"Good!"

"Well ok bye!"

My legs walked fast out of the house I felt his eyes on me.

"Nara wait!" He screamed

I walked faster and faster. My pulse quickened I didn't want him here. I put my car in ignition and drove right past him. That was enough visiting for one day besides tomorrow was the party.
