Chapter 4. Emma

"Emma?"

"Hi!"

Before I can carry on she holds me close. I feel her crying as the little boy stands confused.

We sit down as I make some tea.

"How did you?"

"Kendall..."

I feel a pain through my heart. He knows where I am how?

"He..."

"Becky."

"She..."

"Look she found out."

I stay quiet as we sip our tea. I want to tell her so much. I haven't seen her since well college. After I left that night I got an offer and came all the way here.

"I know about the fight..."

I get distracted from my thoughts as I look at her. She gets up bringing me closer.

"I'm sorry..." She whispers

"Hi what's your name!"

I let go of her putting my attention on probably her child.

"Max!"

I stop as I turn around to her.

"You called him..."

"Yeah... I'm sorry about leaving you like that. I'm sorry about Becky I'm-"

I hold her close this time both of us crying.

"Why does my name make everyone cry mummy?"

We laugh so hard as I pick him up.

"Because it's a very beautiful name!"

"Thank you Auntie Nara!"

"How do you?"

"Mummy and daddy always talk about you!"

"Ooo and where is daddy?"

"Daddy's back home!"

"Ooo!"

I put him down as we talked about everything. It felt like no time past as we were just talking and honestly felt nice. I had someone to talk to I felt like home. Little did I know home was coming even closer.

"Emma wow that's so good a restaurant of your own, we definitely have to go sometime!"

"Yeah..."

"What's wrong?"

"Well that's the thing I was hoping up would come in home."

"What!"

"For just the week we have so much to catch up on and well it's Max's birthday and your little brothers we were gonna have a birthday party for them."

"You know my brother."

"Yeah Max and Zac go to school together there best friends!"

"Em..."

"Look I'm here for the week so you have a week to decide."

With that Emma and Max left.

Should I? Go home? Go where it all went wrong but then again it's my home right?
