Chapter 10. Who is he?!?

Zayn's P.O.V

I stood there as I looked forward and back. She held me closer as if she was scarred. Then I realised she was looking at him. Her hands were sweating she was wrapped around me. Her eyes were bulging out as she stood there staring at him. He was tall handsome. He had blonde hair and a girl next to him. She was a bit taller than him. She was wearing a crop top and a mini skirt. Which was a bit to much for a kids party. His eyes fell on me quick as if it was his way of letting me know he was going to eat me for breakfast. He looked at the way Nara was clasping onto me. Nara still staring right at him. The guy still staring at her. What was going on?!?

"Babe?" I called Nara

"Babe..." I said again

"BABE!" I shouted

"Huh!"

She leaped up as if she was in another world.

"Whose he?"

"Umm an old friend yeah..."

She turned away and walked towards the food. Was she telling the truth?

"Thank you for coming!" Zac and Max shouted.

"You are welcome my lovelies!" Nara said as she picked them both up giving them a big wet kiss.

"Zac come on let's go home!" Nara's dad shouted.

Her face became pale. She had told me how her dad left her and how he did something else but she never told me the other thing. I grabbed her as I slowly brought her back to me

"Let's get out of here..." I whispered

"Yeah..."

"Well we'll be off!"

"Emma when u coming home?"

"Umm a bit later here are the keys!"

"Thanks babe!"

She hugged her and whispered something her making her face go pale again.

"Come on babe!"

We were both quiet through the car ride. She sat there as if she was waiting to just get out and run. As we got out I grabbed her hand and closed the door.
She looked shocked.

"We need to talk..."

"About what?!?"

"Who was that guy!"

" I already told you and old friend!"

"Then why did you look so shocked seeing him as if he came back alive from the dead! What's going on your not telling me something!"

"Listen I have had a hard week both my parents were in the room, I ran away from this place people were talking when they saw me. I felt guilty..."

I squeezed her hands and turned her to face towards me.

"Nara tell me the truth..."

Her eyes were filled with sorrow it gave me an agonising pain in my heart to look at her like this. She looked down again before replying

"His name is Kendall... He used to be my boyfriend after um Max. I thought he was the one but, the truth was my dad had paid him and his brother to get closer to us so my dad would be close to us..."

"Us?"

"Me and my sister, I haven't seen Lydia since the fight, she left with Frankie and that poor girl if only she knew, he never loved me, he broke my heart... He's my heartbreaker. Kendall is my heartbreaker..."

I held her close as she fell into my arms. No wonder...
