You listened closely as Tracer explained about what had happened to Overwatch. What you processed from everything was that after Morrison and Reyes were killed in the Swiss explosion, everyone thought that Overwatch had gained too much power and had turned against them, which had caused them to disband.

Tracer finished with a sigh and you immediately felt bad for asking. You could tell that she was still upset about it- you didn't blame her, you probably would be too.

It was quiet for a few minutes. You finished off your soup. You didn't know what else to say and didn't want to just get up and leave her here after bringing back her memories of Overwatch.

"I'm sorry I asked," you finally whispered hoarsely, causing you to clear your throat.

"It's fine, love; I've told the story dozens of times," she replied. She ran a hand through her hair and looked at you with a smile.

You smiled back. You didn't know what it was about her. You found her a bit... charming, in some regard. You looked away and back at your bowl. You then looked outside; it was dark now. Oh lord, you thought, thinking about what Adam could be up to.

"I've got to go- got a crazy friend to take care of who's dressed like a clown," you explained, hurriedly picking up your bowl.

"A clown?" Tracer asked, blinking and watching you rush to get out of the booth.

"Yeah, I've gotta find him before he stirs trouble, gets arrested or gets injured either lethally or nonlethally. He couldn't care less about his own life so I have to do it for him."

"I can help you find him," Tracer said, standing up and exiting the booth with you. Her pace was quicker than yours, and you were the one in a hurry.

"You don't have to. I don't want him to be a bother to-"

"No, really. It's fine, love," she replied, putting her tea cup down on a counter. You did the same and an employee came over and collected all the dirty dishes in that area.

"You're sure?" you inquired, now leaving the café with Tracer.

"Yeah, it's fine, it's not like I was doing anything else anyway."

You shrugged. "Okay then." You got into your car with Tracer, driving around the block to where you had last seen Adam. You did a quick scan around the area and didn't see him. "He probably got arrested," you growled. "Or went really far away from here, or something."

"Park the car, (Y/N). Being on foot will be easier," Tracer said.

You considered this for a second and then parked the car. She did have a point; if he was in an alleyway or something, you couldn't just turn into the alleyway in a car. On foot, you could.

"I'll check in the more dangerous plsces. My pistols aren't there for nothing," she said. You nodded, not even bothering to ask why she carried them around.

"I'll look around the sidewalks. Hopefully he's just sitting on a sidewalk or something scaring people," you said. You knew that was the most likely situation, but you wanted to be sure.

The two of you split up. Tracer took out her pistols and ran toward an alleyway. You walked across the street and jogged around a couple of blocks, memorizing the street names so that you didn't get lost.
