3 days. Tatlong araw mula nung party at hanggang ngayon, 'di parin umuuwi si Chloe. Hanggang ngayon, nag-iisip parin ako tungkol sa pag-aaral.
I've been thinking about what it would do if we continue our education. Would it make us happy?? Successful? No. That's not what I should be asking. What would happen if I come back to school? What would happen if I start college now??
"Care to share?" Halos mapatalon ako nang magsalita si Patrice mula sa likod ko.
"When are you gonna stop scaring me?? Ilang years na tayong magkaibigan, ganon parin?" I groaned out of frustration.
"Hindi naman kita tinatakot, eh. You're just jumpy. That's all." Umupo siya sa tabi ko saka kinuha ang remote ng T.V "Now, where were we?? Ah! Ano yung iniisip mo?? Mukhang ang lalim kasi."
Should I tell her?? Maybe I should.
Sasabihin ko na sana kaso nagsalita si Ella mula sa may hagdan.
"Guys, look." Panawag niya habang may hawak na envelope.
"Tell me about it later." Patrice said with a voice barely audible.
Naglakad siya palapit kay Ella habang nanatili lang ako sa couch. Nakatingin lang ako sa kanila at nakita ko kung paano nanlaki ang mata ni Patrice.
"Wha-Momo!! Gelly!!" Sigaw niya kaya naman nagmamadaling bumaba ang dalawa mula sa mga kwarto nila.
I stayed in my seat but damn, curiosity is killing me. Ella ang Patrice was coming closer to where I am, Marielle and Angelica close behind them with curious looks.
Ella placed the envelope on the center table.
"Look. Ito pala yung gusto niyang ihingi kay tita." Saad niya.
"What the-" Nanlalaking mata kong binasa ang nakasulat.
