Everything is so enchanting, as we drive through the forest. Getting nearer and nearer to our destination, Woodwind Bark.
But now we just entered a more populated area. Where kids are doing their things like; bicycling, running, playing with footballs on the streets.
To me this is not usual to see, as my eyebrows pulls together in bewilderment. People walking on the sidewalks with their pets and families.
This was truly something I am looking forward to. So peaceful and amicable. I love it.
The bus comes to an abrupt halt, just outside a very old looking bus stop with an old looking hut that I could from looking out of the window, that was the bus terminal.
Great, this already reminding that where I am is far away from a modern city to a country. I grab my stuff and as soon as I step off the buss, the buss drives off and that's when I realize here's where I'll be staying at for quite sometime.
Now where's the apartment I'm going to live in? I ask myself as I look around and that's my scrutiny catches a familiar looking double floored building just across the street.
Without looking side to side if a car drives by, I make my first move to walk over the street, which has me screeching in the air like banshee when a car honks.
"Sorry." I apologize and the car drives by.
Okay focus Elle, you're not in a city anymore. And when I know a car is driving by I walk up to my apartments front door and grab the key from the envelope sent to me in New York City and my face falls the moment I realize I am going to live upstairs.
This can't be true. I gaze at the stairs disbelievingly and searching for an elevator, but this building clearly looks too old to have installed that.
Well up the stairs I go. I have to fight my way up the stairs, as I drag and lug my bags, making me be quiescent. A exhausted sigh escapes my mouth, as I feel like I am dragging a stud weighing more than tons. It's making my knees weakening and my arms go all numb, at all the effort I am putting my body through.
Despite delay, I finally reach the top and without a doubt when I drop my stuff, I feel like my usual state of weight comes back like a flowing wind. But my knees are still as weak as ever as I find myself leaning on the railings to get my bearings back. My heart is pounding hysterically, as I try to catch breath. I surely need to workout more often.
"Good gracious god."
When a fist of air is insufflated and I've got enough oxygen, I depend on my legs not to crumble on the ground like Bambi did on ice. This is more tiresome and debilitating than I've ever experienced.
As soon as I unlock the door, I drop my bags and throw my keys on a cupboard. I remember reading that there are already furnitures following with the apartment l, so that's great, now I don't have think of that.
I kick off my shoes. There's a door to my right where I open it to reveal a small but sweet bathroom. At the corner there's a shower and next to it on it's right, there's a sink and to it's left, there's a toilet.
I close it again and walk into come face to face with an open area where there's on its left a sofa and a comfy chair. To my right there's a four person dinning table.
I walk across the room to where there's a bedroom and close to the dinning table there's a door, leading into a small, but nice and cozy kitchen.
I love this apartment. It's not too big and not too small. Just perfect.
I decide to leave all my bags in my bedroom and then walk into the kitchen.
I search through the cupboards for any sorts of food that would satisfy and appease me, after the long and elongated day.
