Love

Everything was clear to me now.

The party is over,  mom and dad asked me to joined the other groups. Makakakuha daw ako ng idea sa kanila about business.

Pinagbigyan ko nalang din, after all that's a good idea. Vito was still talking to other businessman. Maraming nag aalok sa kanya ng trabaho hindi pa man din sya nakakagraduate. Honestly,  nakakainggit... Pano meron na syang project right after he graduate. And its not like a ordinary project he had before,  its really a big time now.  Were talking about buildings here.

Pat and i, were just listening of what the man in front of us saying.  He keeps looking at me at naiilang ako. He talks with confident,  as in super sa confident.

Then, suddenly there's a hand in my shoulder and moved to my waist. I flinched to the sudden touched, his warm palm rested to my waist and i can feel every fucking fingers touched to my skin.

Hindi ko na kailangan lingunin, dahil alam ko na kung sino. He cleared his throat,  and asked me to go outside the venue. The man talking stop midway in his sentence. Now,  he realized....  I'm not available of whatever he thinks.

Vito leaned forward and whispered.

" Lets go, o you want me to have a scene here. His fucking like you." his firm voice shaken my thoughts.

" Fine, just calm! "

Naglakad kami palabas. He's now holding my hand.  Buti nalang busy sila daddy. Mahihirapan ako magpaliwanag kapag nahuli kami. Masyado silang boto kay marco.

Nang nakalipat kami sa garden ay lumiko sya sa kanan, where a statue of angel sitting like a monkey can be seen.

He grab me and all i can see was darkness. His moves was fast, naramdaman ko nalang na hinahalikan niya ako sa labi.

" I miss you. " His tongue lingered to my mouth. He keeps pushing and tasted every corner of my mouth. My face flushed. I kissed him back and hugged him tightly. I know he's smiling, he won. My heart betrayed me,  i miss him too.

He stopped.

" Sumama ka sakin, magtanan tayo if you want. Kaya kitang buhayin, just say yes----and i will give the world to you." He looked frustrated.  "I love you so damn much." bawat salita niya tumatagos. 

" I'i love you too vito. " there,  i said it.

He was looking at me in disbelief. Tumalikod sya sakin, tumingala sa langit then.. he hugged me so tight and kiss the temple of my head.

" Fuck!  Ang sarap sa pakiramdam! Haha" He kissed my head repeatedly. Parang tanga talaga sya.

"Tayo na? " he asked me. I bit my lower lip and half smiling.

When I'm about to say the word, mom pop out of nowhere that i couldn't be imagine!

" Yesh, why you're here? Lets go inside... Malapit na tayo umuwi. " She's serious and i think may kutob na sya.

Sumunod ako kay mommy, at sinenyasan si vito na magtawagan nalang kami. He nodded and give a flying kiss. Muntik nako mapatawa. Mom wont like it, at alam ko na ang mangyayari mamaya. I'm sure of that!

Nagpaalam din kami agad sa mga kaibigan ni dad at mom at umuwi na.

While inside the car, hindi na kinaya ni mommy ang manahimik.

" Bakit kasama mo si engr. Vito? Ano pinag uusapan niyo na kailangan niyo pang lumabas? "

Napabuntong hininga ako.  Ayokong maglihim sa kanila. If they want the truth, i gladly give it to them.

" Mom, dad,  i love him"

Natahimik sila. Dad seemed okay but mom,  she looks frustrated and shocked.

" What?  Paano si marco? Everything you had with him,  and about the wedding...  Itatapon mo lang? Maybe,  your just confused iha. Don't make a decision that will you regret in the end. "

" I know mom, that's why I'm doing this. I'm not happy anymore with marco. Tama na siguro na binigyan ko ng chance ang relasyon namin kahit wala ng mangyayari. " I said.

Mom signed.  " All i want is you... to be happy and stable with the man you love.  I still like marco for you. Even, engr. vito stand without his parents help, i still want you for marco. Matagal ko ng kilala si marco, ninang mo pa ang mami niya. How can you explain this to your tita? " she looked to daddy,  and dad tap her hand rested to his lap. " Please,  yesh,  mag isip ka.  Stop seeing that guy and stop whatever you plan!" May diin nyang salita.

Tumahimik nalang ako at hindi na nakipag talo.  Lagi naman silang nasusunod.  I think,  i should stand for what i want in my life, after all ako naman mag susuffer sa huli,  why not give it a shot.

Pagkadating sa bahay ay dumeretso na ako sa kwarto.  Hindi muna kasi ko tutuloy sa dorm.

When i turned on my fon,  vito's lots of miscall and messages vibrated to my fon. I tap the last messages, magkita daw kami tom. sa school.

Sinabi ko sa kanya na sa likod kami ng garden magkita.  Doon ang tambayan namin nila patty.

Bukas ko na din kakausapin si marco. And Kaya ko to. Just talk.

I woke up early,  and find a piece of paper in my side table. It was my mom hand written.

Iha, were off to bangkok, your dad have a emergency meeting to mr. Tong. Be safe and remember what we talked last night. Love you.

I signed.  She was determined to change my mind. But i cant,  this time i have to be brave.

Gumayak ako at nag ayos ng gamit. Inipon ko ang lahat ng bigay ni marco.

Hinatid ako ni mang hero, yes his name was hero, our family driver.

Marco was leaning to his car, waiting for me. Tinext ko na sya kagabi palang about sa pagkikita namin dito. He seemed okay, at mukng handa naman sya.  Pagbaba ko ng sasakyan, lumingon agad sya. His gazed down to the box I'm holding right now. His expression change.

" Hi" i greeted him.

" Hi. " he kissed me to my cheeks.

" Can we go somewhere?I just want us to talk. " i cleared my voice.

" Alright. " pinagbuksan niya ako ng pinto at pumasok naman agad ako.

Pumunta lang kami sa malapit na coffee shop. Hindi nako nag abala umorder, pero sya umorder pa din ng dlwang kape.

" I know why were here. Its that all the stuff i gave it to you? " He pointed out the box. I nodded.

" Kung ibabalik mo yan,  mabuti pang sunugin mo nalang.  I wont accept that. That's all yours, binigay ko yan sayo kaya hindi ko na yan pagmamay ari."

Natameme ako sa sinabi niya. He was right after all. Pero kasi... eto lang naisip ko na way sa pag putol ng anumang meron kami dati.

" I'm sorry, i didn't mean to hurt you,  this is all i know and think... what is best for us. I don't want you to feel bad about this. "

Tsk!  " Feel bad? Minamaliit mo ang nararamdaman ko. If you want so badly to out of this relationship, then fine! Your free. But, please... wag mo naman putulin kahit pagkakaibigan natin. And until now, mom still hoping and waiting about the details of our wedding. "

Nagulat ako sa sinabi niya.  " Ayoko lang mabigla sya. Siguro naman may halaga parin sayo si mommy? " Napaiwas ako ng tingin.

" Of course,  I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to happened this way. " He nodded.

He was silent for a moment. I know, it's all my fault. Sana noon pa man nag-desisyon na ako.

Hindi na namin nahintay ang kape,  naglapag sya ng pera sa mesa at inaya nakong umalis. Ibinalik nya ako sa university at nagpaalam na din.  Hindi ko naisip na ganito niya kadali matatanggap ang desisyon ko.

I'm free now.
