I went out with a friend of mine today.
He was a great one.
He had a mind of his own.
It was easy to talk to him about you.
He never asked for your name.
He never said I was being stupid.
He never judged me or my feelings.
We talked about Love and Hate.
He shared his experiences with me.
And I was glad I was being heard and understood.
I asked him if people could have a certain emotion towards someone without talking to them.
He said that could not happen.
He said I should give up already.
He said I'll just keep on hurting my soul.
He said there is someone out there who deserves my love and who will take care of me until the end of world and maybe after that even.
I couldn't respond.
Not because I was too lost in my own feelings.
Not because I thought it was useless trying to change his opinion.
I didn't respond because I understood.
I understood every word.
I know it was all TRUE.
I know that I should give up on you.
I know that I should forget about you .
The one who was never MINE.
