High King Peter, King Edmund, and I were conducting a meeting two years into their reign with the elders of Narnia and I suggested that now that the threat of the Witch's army has been neutralized, Narnia should focus on reestablishing relations with our other territories.

The Lone Islands.

The other elders agreed and by the end of the week all the royals and I were on a ship to the Lone Islands. We made a stop in Galma to restock on supplies and met with the Duke of Galma.

The people there are quite a rowdy, but cheerful bunch and enjoy a good joust. So, the Duke suggested that the Narnians send out their most fearsome warrior to face his champion.

However, I could see the Duke only wanted to see the Red Lady. I sighed and decided to humor him by fighting his champion. I wore armor that hid my face until, once I had one the match, I revealed my face to all the Galmians in attendance. After that the Duke kept uncomfortably close to me and spoke nonstop about how he was blown away by my performance in the joust. I knew that I couldn't do anything to him, so I asked Peter to save me from the smarmy man and tell him some outrageous lie, like I had sworn a vow of chastity or something like that. Thank goodness that he bought the lie and we were able to continue our journey to the Lone Islands.

When we arrived we were welcomed with open arms by the current surrogate leader, Duke Abel, and a tournament was to be held in honor of Peter who, as High King, would become the Emperor of the Lone Islands.

In order to cement his rule over the Lone Islands, King Peter entered the tournament along with King Edmund. Susan entered the archery division despite her dislike of violence and Lucy decided not to enter and instead entertain the Duke Abel, of the Lone Islands. I entered in secret as a silent knight in red.

In the finals, I had to fight King Peter, who halfway through our fight managed to knock off my helmet to reveal my face. Gasps from the audience and the Duke shouting were a sign that the rumors of Narnia's Red Lady had reached even the Lone Islands. I fought my hardest against Peter, but in the end I was forced to submit and Peter won the tournament.

I ball was held in honor of Peter's victory and very few people were willing to ask me for a dance because they feared me. I didn't complain though, I knew that most men wanted a woman who was submissive and ladylike. I was neither and watched the party from a secluded corner of the room. By the end of the night I had danced with a grand total of four men; Peter, Edmund, a knight from Felimath, and a knight from Avra.

We gained a few extra members to sail with us back to Narnia because they had been chosen to become members of the court back on the Narnia mainland.
