Morgan heard a loud shatter of glass coming from in the house. She immediately jumped from the bed. Robert woke up and looked at her. "Shh, someone is in the house." whispered Morgan. They then hear screams of the baby and quickly ran out of the room. They rush into Alex's bedroom to see him still laying in his crib. Robert looks out the window to see someone speeding off down the road. Morgan held her son next to him trying to calm his cries. "Who was that?" asked Morgan. "I don't know." replied Robert. "You don't think someone is trying to kidnap my son." "I couldn't tell you. Is he okay?" "I think so." "Oh my God what happen?" asked Angela bursting through the room. "It's okay honey. Everything's fine." assured Robert. "No, No it's not! It's happening again!" Angela began crying and he threw his arms around her. "Please, calm down. It's not happening again." Robert felt scared. Who is trying to harm them? Does he still have an enemy? He didn't know.
~Few Days Later~
Morgan was trying to feed Alex but he refused to eat. She placed her hand on his forhead. He was burning up with a fever. She picked him and grabbed her car keys heading out the door. She called Robert to come to the hospital immediately. He said he would be there once he picks up Angela at her school. The doctors took Alex in and did some test. His fever had reached 105 degrees Farenheit. He looked weak and couldn't move. Morgan began to cry as they tried to get his fever down.
They hooked him up to I.V and monitors. His heart rate was slowly dropping. She looked to see his eyes close and the heart monitor went blank. "NO! WHAT'S WRONG WITH HIM!" screamed Morgan. "Ma'am please step out." The nurse pushed her out and the doctor began working on Alex. Robert and Angela ran up to Morgan who was in tears by the window. "Mom, what's going on?" asked Angela. Robert wrapped his arms around Morgan. "His heart stopped! I don't know what is wrong with my baby." Robert began to tear up as he looked over at Angela. She had her arms folded and trying really hard not to cry. She placed her hand on the window and looked into the room. What happened to her brother.
The doctors revived him but, he remained unresponsive. He performed more test on Alex and came across something strange. The child was poisoned with the drug called Ricin. Of course their was a cure but, how did this baby get it in his system. He wondered if the mother might have something to do with it. Put it in his food? Drink? He closed his file and went to tell the parents. Robert seen the doctor and walked up to him. "Is he okay?" he asked. "What did the child eat before he got here?" asked the doctor. "He wouldn't eat. I tried to feed him but, he refused. He ate fine the other two days." replied Morgan. "Ma'am, your son has been poisoned. The drug is called Ricin and causes heart failure, fever, and death. It's quite a large some that was consumed. But, I need proof that he was given it through food. Until then, I must ask you all to leave. I just called child services and putting the child under protection until we resolve this issue." "NO! I'M NOT LEAVING MY SON!" screamed Morgan. "Are you saying that we poisoned our own child because I suggest you start getting your fact straight. We would never harm our children we love them too much." said Robert. He was trying to hold back his anger. "Is this guy serious?" asked Angela. "Please leave until I figure what happened. I'm trying to protect the child. Leave before I call security." "Hey, fuck you! How dare you do this? You have no proof." Angela shoved the doctor and ran outside. "You better figure this shit out fast. If not, then I'm pressing charges against this fucking hospital." warned Robert. He lead Morgan out and over to the car. "I want my baby! Robert, promise me you will figure out who did this." said Morgan. "I will find out. I'm not going to call my lawyer now." Angela sat there holding her brothers teddy bear. She couldn't bring herself to believe that her mother would do such a thing. She herself was going to find out who poisoned her brother and how?
