The week passed in a blur. Same stuff happened: Celia picked me and dropped me home everyday, Amelia picked fights with us, Celia fought back, etc, etc.
The funny part for me was now Celia's and Kyle's mini arguments. For some reason they couldn't stand each other. Kyle would intentionally provoke her to fight. In the end they would both ask me to choose a side so I was being considered partial as I had to switch sides everyday. Kyle was a nice guy. After Zac was suspended, he talked to us a lot as if he had known me and Celia since childhood.
They were my only friends. I loved their company. That's quite strange for me to admit though. Today was the day when Axel and Zac would be coming back after their suspension. I can't help but feel nervous.
Me and Celia were standing in front of my locker. I was keeping my stuff in there.
"There he is, look, you should go and talk to him" Celia told me by making me look towards Zac. He was standing there already surrounded by cheerleaders and his peers. He was 15 steps away from me.
"I don't have the courage and what should I say to him. So many people are around him" I tried to decline Celia's offer.
"Excuse me, he saved you, just casually go to him and thank him"she said furrowing her brows.
"I thanked him over the phone already, let's go to class, I don't want to be late" I tried changing the topic but this is Celia we are talking about.
Conquering Mount Everest is easier than convincing her. Ok, maybe I am exaggerating but she's stubborn. She snatched my books and pushed me towards Zac's direction.
Ok Emma, you got this. All you have to do is just go and thank him. Yep! That's all. His friends might taunt you but it's normal for me. I can do this.Go Emma go!
Zac's viewpoint
The moment I entered the school, everyone started asking me questions. I walked to my locker along with all these news reporters.
"I missed you baby" Amelia hugged me.
"Dude, you didn't have to get in trouble for that stupid nerd" Ryan said that with his big mouth.
"Guys!! I'm alive and kicking. It was all spur of the moment" I was annoyed by all these questions.
"Oh baby, I know you are so kind but she's a real bitch, She deserved that" Amelia still continued the blabbering.
I rolled my eyes "shut up."
I ignored all the talk that followed after that. As I closed my locker, I saw Emma walking towards me. She looked nervous. I couldn't help smirking. All my group went quiet.
I stared at her. She was trying hard to speak out.Just say something. I'm dying to make an eye contact with you.why won't you look up?
"Umm.. Hi" she said still not making an eye contact.
"Hey" I said casually. Suddenly, She turned all red. Man! She was too shy.
All my friends were quiet waiting for her to say something. She broke the silence."Umm.. bye then" she said.
"What?, that's all you wanted to say" I was shocked and amused at the same time. She finally looked up and nodded.
"Are you mocking all of us? don't you have a tongue to at least thank him? you selfish bitch" Amelia brought me out of the cute moment I was having with Emma. At her comment, Emma stepped forward. Her expression showed anger.
You're so beautiful even when you are burning with rage. Wait! What am I thinking.
"I came here to thank him and I will make it up to him the way he wants. I do have a tongue, it's just not long and dirty as yours that you can't even keep it in your own mouth" Emma was glaring at Amelia. Amelia was too shocked to reply back.
