(Switching to Carol's POV)

I dashed around the floor, trying to find a place to look for Brella man and Carson from. Honestly, I was getting worried about Nat and Sto, even though I have spent under a day with them.

Catching my breath, I walked into a stor, which was aglow with various light displays and froufrou arangements. I pulled my hair back up into its regular bun, it had come askew in the run. I paced through until walking in front of a mirror.

"Carolina Harethy, you have gotten taller, I could swear it." I laughed and kept walking.

Exiting the store, Iheard a beeping noise, it was getting louder. I raced to the noise; had Nat and Sto gotten into trouble already?

I found the elavator, whose light was bright red. A security guard snatched my shoulders and pulled me away.

"Whoah, that elevator has stopped, and there were  people in it!" My jaw dropped.

"Ma'am, are you okay?" The guard let go.

"My friends are in there, and I might know who stopped it." I mumbled.

"Right this way..." Another guard beckoned me. I followed.

Carolina Harethy, you have landed yourself in a mess...

(Switching back to Sto's)

Beep...beep...beep....

I groaned, twitched my nose. I couldn't scratch it.

Beep...beep...beep...

Wait, why couldn't I scratch it? My eyes snapped open.

Beep...beep...beep...

My hand was raised up, something was piercing it. What was going on? I squirmed to find out that I couldn't move very much, I was bound down with velcro.

Beep...beep..beep...

I whipped my head around to see a monitor, with simple information filled in, including my name, date of birth, and other health-based facts.

"Nat?" I nervously asked. "Nat, where are you?" My head was cold and clammy, I could feel it. "Nathaniel Sokomore, say something!" I thrashed around in what was a cot, trying to free myself.

"SESTIVA CALM YOURSELF!" I heard someone shout. A doctor rushed into the room. "Sestiva, honestly." Who was this guy, my mother? "You should know better. Nathaniel is in another room, if you needed to know."

That was it. How did this guy know my name, where was I, and what the heck happened?

"Tell me everything, and let me GO." I growled.

"Sestiva, I know you're disoriented, and obviously in discomfort. Your heart is racing. I need to know what happened."

"Okay, okay...I was in an elevator with Nat, and my head started spinning, and I blacked out. Can I go now?" I snapped. "I need to go back home."

"Sheesh." The doctor walked up in tiny steps and ripped the velcro (c) straps off. I yanked the IV out of my arm and found a length of gause to wrap the incision with.

"STORMY!" Nathaniel stormed into the room, and gave me a hug. Bewildered, and shakily placed my hands on his shoulderblades.

"Nat, we're alive!" I joked. "Can we check out?"

"Technically, you can leave. Your escort is waiting outside." The doctor ushered us to the front of the ICU, and pushed us into a car.

"Wait a sec-" Nat said. I recognized the guy in the front. He stared back.

"Goodbye Carson." I reached to the front of the car and snatched his GPS, in which I used to shatter the window. I pulled Nat out.

"We need to find Carol." I muttered, as we ran towards the nearest Metro Transit bus.
