So much thanks to my friend Lina (whose char. counterpart is Carol), who spens a minute or two with me every week, giving me ideas, can't thank her enough! Thanks to her friends, for letting me snatch her.
EDIT: More thanks to Lina, who is reading! Woot!!
Sto's PoV
I woke up to something in my mouth...yuck...was that a horse bit, like the thing they're biting, connected to the reins? What were we, zoo animals? I wanted to get up, andsort of go crazy, but the squeaky voice of Carson stopped me.
"Wakey wakey, Sestiva. How was your nap?" I looked around the bus. The people were gone, I didn't recognize the landscape through the windows.
"Uneventful, aside from the fact that I have a prominent kink in my neck, it's very annoying." I growled.
"Oh," Carson mocked me. "So, can you just untie my hands, and maybe my legs to-"
"SHUT UP ABOUT STO!" I heard from the back of the bus. Nat had shouted at the top of his lungs. "SHUT UP!!"
"Get his mouth.." Carson grumbled. I heard shuffling, and Nat struggling.
"Mmmmmph...Nt...Tuh..." I heard from right behind me, in Carol's voice.
"Yes, she was being loud long before you got up. Now then.." I decided to be quiet. While Carson rummaged through papers, I stretched, and noticed my arms were in front of me.
How to get through the ropes....I thought, looking at my wrists. My watch had sharp edges..perfect...
"Okay then, Sto. I noticed a copy of Wevel's book in your friend's possession. What do you know about the Black Hole theory?" I sighed, delved into my memory. Also, I rubbed my wrists together, my watch working its way through the rope, ever so slowly.
"Honestly," I stalled, "I never even read the book, I was too busy walking around in dreamland, in an elevator.." My words became more sarcastic by the syllable. "And I saw you, you were in a car." I snapped, as if I had made an important point. Carson imitated Sherlock Holmes, spreading his hands, and resting his chin on them.
"Yes, yes....Wevel's theories were amazing, more potent than I expected though...you saw me? In a car?"
"Yea, Toyota Rav4 Sport, blue...liscence....eh..." I closed my eyes. When my vision blacked, I felt the sensation of the humid air. I only knew of two places that were humid, Indonesia, my mom's homeland, and the East Coast.
"Wevel made a theory on how smells could effect dreams. Anyhow: Wevel's theory simply stated on how black holes could effect our dear planet, my dear."
"Don't call me that.." I groaned, rubbing my wrists. Carson leaned in, and I opened my eyes. He had hazel eyes, and curly bown hair. Freckles dotted his cheeks.
"So darling, do you know the secret? You must by now."
I freed my hands, "Nope!" and punched Carson in the jaw. Rope lined my wrists like bracelets.
This couldn't be such a bad look, I thought, proceeding to the back of the bus.
