A Kiss From My Bully






Katelyn's pov





"Annabeth what's wrong with her? Why can't she remember us?" the woman asked







"I don't know Jena, the doctor told us that they will tell us what's wrong." mom replied.





This guys isn't my real mom, Raven and I called her mom because she insisted. She is our parents' family friend as what Raven said. I really don't remember who are my parents, I just don't get it. Everytime I think of them everything I see







The man with Jena whispered something in her ears and said, "Mr. & Mrs. Brooke are he-."






And then a knock cut off the man, the doors opened and there appeared a couple. The woman appears to be in fourties but looks younger and the man with her looks handsome, they look young but old. Once the woman connected her gaze with mine she smiled and rushed to my side.






"My baby, are you alright? If you want me to kick Raven I would." she said pulling me to a hug and they all burst out laughing including me, she must be a friend of our parents. Speaking of my parents, where are they? Why are they not here and all of their friends are here?





But my response made everyone in the room looked shocked. "I'm sorry, but who are you?"





The woman started to cry, "What do you mean who am I?"





I frowned, "I don't recall seeing you around or seen you."





The man rushed to her and comforted her and said, "Princess, what do you mean? This isn't a time for playing jokes."





"But I'm not!" I hissed, then the doctor came in with his paper things. The doctor called for my parents and the woman and the man who talked to me earlier went with him. I was shocked, so they were my parents all along? But why can't I remember?





Raven move towards me and cupped my cheeks, "Why didn't you remember them?"




Figuring out who were them I answered, "I don't know them Raven. How come I don't know?"





I was in verge of crying when the doors opened again and then our mom with tears came in with our dad hushing her but it's seen from his face that he was almost in breaking down.





"I'm sorry m-.. moth-.. mother.. I didn't meant to make you cry."




Our mother smiled at me but shook her head, "That's not the reason why I cried."






It was Raven's turn to ask, "Then what?"





My mother cried and I just want to comfort her. Even Jena, Annabeth, Anton, the old man and Francisco are curious.





Dad spoke, "Katelyn has an Alzheimer's Disease."





Then I saw Francisco's fist clenched and punched the wall before walking out the room. This is too much from me, my head is aching then I passed out.

"Such a kill joy Loki! Come on, just play hide and seek with me!" I pleaded but Loki ignored me




I saw him smiled evily so he must've an evil plan, just what I thought he began to attack me with tickles and I couldn't escape from his hold. I pretended that I couldn't breath so he would stop. He stopped and asked me if I am okay.





"Gotcha!" I giggled, he pouted angrily and faced away ignoring me again.




"Hey! Why aren't you talking to me?"





He huffs and I just can't help it so I pinched his cheeks and his face got red.




"Why did you do that?" he asked




"Because you are cute and you were ignoring me."




He turns away ignoring me again.





"See you are ignoring me again. Why?"





He looks back at me and I can still see his face red but ignored it, "You want to know why?"




I nodded and motioned for him to continue, "Because you gave me a heart attack. I was worried about you! What if you really can't breath and it's my fault? Both our parents will kill me if that happens!"





I rolled my eyes, "So is that what you're worried about?"





He groans and ran a hand through his hair, "No! Because I kept this from a long time! My real name is Francisco Lockwood and I hate myself for lying to you!"





I was not yet satisfied with his answer but I was shocked, his actual name is Francisco and I am the only one calling him Loki, great just great.





"Is that all?" I asked





He shook his head no, "I also can't forgive myself if I put you in danger."





"And why so?"





He stiffens for a moment and looks me directly into my eyes and held my hand, "Will you promise me to not forget this day?"






I nodded, "Of course! It's christmas dummy!"





He chuckles but stopped and looks down, "It's because I like you."





My heart skipped a beat and I blushed.






He looks back at me with sincerity and says, "I really really like you Katelyn Brooke."








I opened my eyes and breath heavily. What was that? I wander my eyes to the people here in the room but the one I'm looking for isn't here. Raven's at my right side while the adults are at the big couch.






Then the door opened to reveal the person I've been looking for.





"Loki..." I trailed off and he stiffens.





"You remembered?" he asked





I smiled, "Yeah... I had a dream about before."





He grimaced and grabs a seat and placed it near me, "Have you wondered why I bullied you?"





"Because I was ugly?"






He shooks his head no, "No, it's because I was a jerk. A very dumb jerk actually." I giggled.




"Remember that time on the Christmas day when I confessed? The year after that you forgot everything, except for your brother. I was upset because for the past years I was the one that made you happy and smile. So I made a promise about making you suffer because you couldn't remember me. But that changed when we met again, my heart beat rate was beating so fast. Then we became friends again, but I'm not sure if you could remember it and I'm sure that we became friends again."






We both chuckled, then he continued, "So like before we introduced to each other and gained back friendship. Then one day, that very dreadful night made you forget about everything. The doctors said that there was a slight chance for you to survive. We didn't know, no one know that you were sufferring from an ill before so we just thought that it was just about the accident that happened."





"Then your parents got worried that they might not pay enough for your bills in the hospitals so they worked and worked and worked. Raven almost stopped going to school but you woke up but with no memories again. We asked the doctor if your brain hit something because you got in an accident for two times, but the doctor can't find anything and we assumed again because of the accident."





"I get your point, so I was in an accident for two times and lost my memory two times but that one time I regained back my memory is that it?"





He nodded, "Can I continue?"




I rolled my eyes, "Hmph! Whatever.."





He chuckles, "That's when your parents got worried and focused on work to pay for your hospital bills. Years pass by you haven't regained memories then you got bullied when you reached freshmen year in highschool. I was supposed to be saving you but I let Raven do the work because you can't even remember me.Years went on until Raven needed to take over the company your parents own. And yes, your parents own a big company."




I just responded an 'uhuh' and he continued, "So, I thought 'hey this is my chance for her to remember me. I'll bully her to catch her attention, that's what teens do in this generation'. The kiss that I took from you was an accident, I like you remember? So I lost control and kisses you. I thought that it was making you like me. But I was wrong, it only made you hate me. I was hurt that whenever I see you and you see me, I can see in your eyes how much you hate me. But that didn't made me stop, I continued and continued until you changed yourself."





His fist tightened while continuing the story and I comforted him, "Boys were checking you out so I found way for you to notice me. And then the field trip came and you got lost, I got worried. I confessed and then we hanged out until that thing with your brother happened."






"What happened between you and my brother?" I asked




He sighs, "I confessed about being your bully. He got enraged and punched me."





I was about to ask but he places his fingers on my lips, "You have to rest. Sleep well, goodnight."




He kissed my forehead and smiled.




"Where are you sleeping?" I asked yawning




"Right here. Just like your brother, don't worry about me. Sleep now, I promise you that I'll answer all your unanswered questions tomorrow. Now sleep."




I pouted and slept with a smile on my face.
