A Kiss From My Bully

Katelyn's pov

I looked up the sky and wiped the tear that fell from my eyes. I think its been an hour since I got lost and yet no one has come to find me.

I took deep breaths and let out a scream, "AHHHHH!"

I heard a shufling nosie behind,when I turned around there was nothing. I started to have this feeling that I'm going to die here, right here right now.

When the shufling started again I yelled, "Who is there?! Who are you?! Come out!"

This is a very bad time, it's dark and I'm in a big forest. Still, the one behind the noise didn't come out. I got back on my tracks and started to walk away when my flashlight shut off leaving me no light and scared. So when the light shut off I didn't know where to go and I accidentally stepped on something and I fell and sprained myself. All I could do is cry. Then I saw a small light from afar, until the light got bigger and now is infront of me.

I sniffed and looked at the person who stands before me, "F-francisco?!"

When he saw me, his face softened and he rushed to me, "Are you fine?"

All my anger and hatred towards this guy faded away. I hugged him tightly because he is the one that I could hold on to for now. I didn't answer him instead I gave him a smile and thank him.

He kissed my forehead and looks at me worrily, "No need, you're safe and that's what matters now." He kneeled down and I looked at his back.

He stares at me and said, "Get on my back. I know you sprained yourself."

I huffed and shook my head no but he inisted so here I am on his back.

We were both silent until he decided to break the silence, "Katelyn, I honestly can't help it that you hate me."

I want to tell him that I don't hate him but beat to it and asked another question, "Do you know where you're going?"

He looks at me and smirked, "Are you worried?"

Instead of letting me answer him he continued, "See that constellation up there, shaped like a "W"?"

I looked up and see, "Cassiopeia?" I said

"Yeah, can you see Polaris beside it?" he asks, I scrunch my nose in confusion.

"Polaris?" I asked

"The star they called North Star." he said

"I never thought that you study stars Lockwood." I teased

He chuckled, "That's when people are wrong, that also includes you. So, when you get lost again, all you have to do is look up and look for Polaris first."

I nodded, "Wait, don't the stars change position every season?"

"Nope, Polaris never changes positions." he proudly answered

I mumbled 'hmmm' and then fell asleep.

I woke up and see that I'm back in my tent, and I look around to make sure that I'm not actually dreaming. I went out only to see numerous people outside looking at me.

I felt insecure whereas I just woke up and for sure I look messy. I see Francisco making his way to me and smiled.

"Is your right ankle fine?" he asks, I looked down at my right ankle and it has a bruise but I don't feel anything so I shook my head.

He leans on me and whispered on my ear, "That's good, the teachers were starting to panic when they saw me carrying you."

I looked at him and looked down, embarassed by what he said. I don't want to be carried in public, it just doesn't feel comfortable yet I didn't protest when he asked me.

He looks at me with his hopeful eyes before yelling, "I want to switch partners with Katelyn Brooke."

I know, I know, I told you guys that I will update two extra chapters but the internet has gone crazy. I appologize if I dissapoint you guys, I still hope you'll support this story. I'm not sure if I could finish this story by the end of this year but yes there is a but, but the book will end soon and about making a sequel? Let me know if you want, I might do a sequel. :) just tell me.
