Chapter 27

Jak's POV

"You guys kiss too much." Seth wrinkles his nose as Rocco steals another kiss.
"We have to make up for the three missing months." I say smiling at my beautiful boyfriend.
We haven't said 'I love you' ever since that one night, 3 weeks ago but we kiss at every chance we get and we're constantly holding hands, hugging, flirting, anything.
We're back at the forest, just like old times. Rocco is situated infront of me with his legs over my right leg. His back and shoulder agaisnt my chest, my arms around his waist.
He smiles, that perfect smile of his, at me and laughs softly.
"I don't really mind. You guys are cute together." Trinity says.
I smile gratefully at her.
Everything is finally back to normal.

I had 'told Matty off' but more like beat him up and yelled at him to get the hell out of our lives or we would call the police. Matty just disappeared. I haven't heard from him since and neither has Rocco.
My boyfriends was on edge for the first week but now he's nice and relaxed.
He came completely clean to me about how he cut while we were apart and everything that happened in between him and Matty.
At first Seth was a little hostile towards Rocco but now they're a lot more relaxed with each other after I explained that Rocco was forced to do what he did and that we're fine so he should be okay with it.

"-almost Chistmas break." Seth was saying.
"Yeah. Me and my family are driving down to New York for a couple weeks." Trinity says.
"We're going over to my grandparents for the entire 3 weeks which kind of sucks." Seth says.
"I've got nothing going on. I'll probably have a party at some point. And obviously hanging out with the most beautiful person ever." I answer.
Rocco pouts and looks up at me.
"I was talking about you." I say rolling my eyes and I kiss his nose.
"Awwwww!" Trinity says laughing.
"As much as I'd love to stay here and watch all you gross PDA, we should be heading back to the school." Seth says.
Trinity bounces up to her feet and Seth follows in a less excited manner.
I get up and pull Rocco up to his feet.
The four of us start walking back to the school in silence. Rocco's small hand held tightly in mine and Trinity's bright smile.
As soon as we reach the school Rocco's hand slips out of mine.

Everything is finally planned.
I grab my phone and call Rocco.
"Hi?" His perfect voice rings out.
"Hey, babe." I reply.
"Hi, Jak." He mumbles.
"Are you busy tonight?" I ask already knowing the answer.
"Nope. Why?"
"Get changed into some nice clothes. I'll be there at 6, k?"
"Um.. Okay."
I hang up and hurry over to my closet.
I have an hour to get ready.
What am I supposed to wear?
I change into a pair of blue skinny jeans, a black button up and black vans. I fix my ginger hair as best as I can and then I stand in front of the mirror.
I look decent.
Half an hour.
I grab my wallet, my phone, the bundle of roses, the chocolates, my keys, and a blanket.
I drive out to my friends place where leave my car and switch over to his dad's pick up truck.
Then I drive down the roads to Rocco's house.
I walk up to the door and knock feeling nervous.
Rocco opens it looking perfect.
Black skinny jeans, black button up like mine, black and white converse, coloured bracelets all the way up to his elbows, and his dark hair styled perfectly as always.
I hand him the roses and the box of chocolates.
"What is all this?" He says looking completely awed.
"Will you go on a date with me?" I ask nervously.
He laughs, confusing me at first then he throws his arms around my neck.
"Of course I will!" He says.
I smile brightly as he pulls away.
"Well then, prepare for the best night of your life." I say confidently, taking his hand.
On the drive their, we both just sit quietly, flirting every once and a while.
Mostly we just listen to the radio.
"Were here." I say parking.
His head pops up, looking excited.
We're at a restaurant.
"I know it's a little cheap but.."
"I love it." He says getting out of the car.
I take his hand and together we walk into the dimly lit restaurant.

We eat dinner, laughing and talking quietly the entire time.
Afterwards we get back into the car and we drive down to the drivein theatre.
"I've always wanted to come here!" Rocco says excitedly.
We get into the backseat and get comfortable with all the blankets and pillows in the back.
The title screen pops up and the parking lot falls silent.
Near the middle of Insidious, Rocco is curled up into my side and he does this adorable thing where whenever there's a scary part he'll squeak and bury his face into my shoulder and then he'll slowly look up again at the big screen.
I laugh when he does again and he turns bright red.
I turn the noise down on our car speakers and look over at him.
"This has been fantastic first date. Thank you." He says smiling softly.
"First date?" I echo.
"Well yeah. It's our first proper date, the two of us and it's my first actual date ever." He mumbles looking embarrassed.
"Really?" I ask.
"Yeah... Matty was my first ever boyfriend and he never took me out anywhere."
"Oh. Well has it been a good first date?"
"Yeah! It's been perfect!" He says.
"That's good."
"Thank you, Jak. Like really, thanks. It really means a lot that something is as thoughtful as you." He mumbles.
"It's no problem. In my mind your more important than anything." I say cheesily.
"Awwww. How cute." Someone says sarcastically.
I turn surprised.
The man has barely any hair but the bit that he has is blond, he has dark brown eyes, he's tall, muscular and has a bit of a beer belly.
I turn back to Rocco and he looks pale and sickly.
"What the hell are you doing here?" He asks timidly.
"Can't I just come see my son?"

..... Oops.
