My POV

My love made it home from hospital late that night. Will drove Jonny and Chris home and I got a ride home with Guy, his girlfriend, my cousin. Guy worked my whole shift and even gave me the tips. Well half of the tips. I insisted he took half. When I phoned in to let Ricky know I was safe at home (Ricky treats me like a daughter and I'm ok with that. Especially because my dad wasn't really around after my folks divorced.) and that Chris was ok, he said he hadn't seen so many birds in the pub since Guy quit. I guess word traveled quickly that Guy was there and serving drinks. I don't how his girlfriend handles how birds just flock to him all the time (yes I made a cheesy pun). I used to hate that when we were together.
Well none of that matters now. He's her problem and hopefully Chris is mine at least for a little while.
Right now I'm in my room by myself and all I want to do is be with Chris. We haven't even had a "proper date yet" as he would call it in his adorable English countryside accent. I phone my cousin Valerie to see what's she up to because it's late I can't sleep and she must suffer with me haha!

"Valerie?"

"Hello beloved cousin!"*giggles

"Hi what are you doing and why are you giggling like that?"

"I'm about to murder my boyfriend and your's to if they don't stop trying to tickle me and get to bed. They need to rest!"

"Oi, hey Valerie! She hasn't agreed to be my girlfriend yet. We haven't even been on a proper first date yet. Jonathan your girl must be dealt with immediately!"

"Sure thing mate!" Jonny yelled while laughing.

"Oi hey Christopher! You weren't thinking about a proper first date when you two were snogging in the hospital and the pub aaaand the car. Now shut it, you two idiots." Valerie says giggling. My cousin can be so feisty. I love it!

"Valerie I'm a broken man I can't handle this verbal assault. Jon would you mind greatly?"

"Ok ok I'm on it, I'm on it. My bones are sore and slow but I can handle her."

"Jonny don't!" She squealed and then bursted into laughter. He must be tickling her again.

"Hello this is Jonny"

"Hi Jonny what happened to Valerie."

"I tickled her and now she's pouting and threatening to suffocate Chris with a pillow."

"Sounds like fun" I laugh.

"Here I'll let you talk to her, and save Chris whose injured and defenseless at the moment." I hear some shuffling and Chris yelling for help, but it was muffled in tons of laughter.

"Hello my beloved cousin, I'm sorry I have my hands full with these two twats."

"Well, it sounds like you could use some help and I was thinking about Chris anyways."

"Awww..."

"Don't start Valerie"

"No it's sweet love. I'm sure Chris would love that and I could always use the help."

"Great I'll be over to their place in a bit."

"Hang on" I hear Valerie say as she puts me on hold to talk to Jonny

"Hey I'm back, I asked Jonny to walk you since he's not too badly hurt and he said you and I can stay the night."

"Wow really that's so nice of him. I know he's a bit sore. Uhm, where am I going to sleep?"
