"...We all know and I don't want to live it alone."

My POV

Chris managed to come to a compromise with Gwyneth so that Apple and Moses could be featured in AJ's article. They got asked one pre-approved question and took a group photo. He did a great job asking his questions and sounded very confident. I am so proud of my little man. Also it seems like Apple fancies him too. They took a couple of selfies together and she kissed him on the cheek. I almost had to call the EMT's for him. Now he's back at the celebrity sleep zone. Valerie and David are keeping an ear out for him while I do my interview with Chris. I haven't told Chris I'm interviewing him. I hope the guys didn't either. He should be expecting to have a an early breakfast with Grimmy. I see him walk in and he covers his mouth overdramatizing his shock. He knew I was gonna be here.

"Honey what are you doing here?" He asked in a chuckle

"Honey what are you doing here?" He asked in a chuckle.

"Oh stuff it Chris. You were just being all funny and cute a minute ago pretending to be surprised. Who told you?"

"So you think I'm funny and cute!"

"Chris!"

"Ok ok, it was my publicist, and Phil."

"Wow Jonny didn't say anything? I can't believe it."

"Of course Jonny told me but he sent you something as an apology for spoiling your surprise." Chris says handing me a piece of paper. I open and see it's the recipe for his amazing eggs. I fold the paper back and a smile stretches across my face.

"Nope"

"What? What is it?"

"His secret egg recipe. Give it back to him please. Tell him "no thank you, I'll have another reason to visit if he keeps it."

"Haha that's very sweet and sacrificial of you. Do you have any reasons to visit me?" He sheepishly inquires.
I walk closer to him and gain contact with his azure eyes that show some form of uncertainty.

"Well if AJ has his way I definitely do." I say then laugh nervously. He walks closer to me. We are so close now that our shoes are touching. He's towering over me. He takes a deep breath and I feel it on my skin. It smells like chocolate and peppermint.

"Do-do you have, I dunno any-any other reasons to visit... me?" He stutters and his voice cracks on the word "I" he looks around and starts running his fingers through his short curls wildly sitting on the top of his head. I pull his arm down and hold his hand without lacing our fingers.

"Yes I do Chris, I missed you."

"Really?"

"Yes"

"I missed you too." He says consuming me in a hug. It amuses me how our bodies still line up perfectly. My head on his chest and my arms around his waist and his around mine. He, resting his head on top of mine. We are magnets drawn to each other. We are puzzle pieces that fit perfectly in one another's form. I normally don't hug someone I'm about to interview like this. This hug was different. This was two people who cared about each other and no longer wanted to be apart. As he gripped my back and I held onto his shirts as if he might vanish or change his mind, I could since the yearning between us. He kissed the top of my head and smiled at me, then let out a breath that I assume was relief. I have my best friend back and it feels like a piece of myself has returned as well. He pulled out my chair and I sat down. He sat across from me. We were at this pop-up breakfast spot that is exclusively for Glastonbury. Chris is wearing sweatpants, a hat, and a blue hoodie with an Indian Chief on the front. A look that's been circulating of him quite often. If he's trying to go unnoticed his outfit choice wasn't the best. People recognized me and I even took a couple selfies before Chris arrived. I got here really early because I was nervous. Now the place is just about empty, only a few stoners with the munchies hanging around, eating way too many pancakes. My hands are on the table and I'm just looking at Chris. My whole body is high wired. I'm brought back down to earth when he holds my hand. I pull my hand back because I need to focus on my work and I don't know how to feel about him right now. He gives me the saddest look so I smile at him and he smiles back making the room brighten as if the sun was out.
