Talons walking on hard floor echoed through the room.

'With four of us true bloods to be alive.... It will wreck the system. The prophecy. One of us will die. And hopefully it will be the some dragonet besides the heir.'

The talons did a circle. 'The watcher of the moons has her own prophecy. The bearer of the crown is very vital, she mustn't die. The one who lifts the night cannot read minds anyhow, perhaps he should die. But, he is blood related to the heir... If she dies, even if he is male, he could still take the thrown.' The talons stopped.  'And I am simply the teller of prophecies... Maybe, just maybe, after I finish setting the rules the world will kill me. But who will remind dragons of the true blood curse... Perhaps it is to be lifted after the shadows gain their lead body?' Another circle. 'That's ridiculous. I shouldn't put my life up to chance... But it may be my only option. What if they kill off the heir? But, she can't. The prophecy says she can't! Prophecies are fate! Rarely ever failing! Rarely.... Rarely is still maybe. Maybe death. Maybe life. I must sacrifice myself. I know I have too, I'm just ignoring it. I see how it is, cruel world. I'll just add a peice and see how the world ends me.'

A dark shape lifted it's enormous wings and took off into the air of the cave walls. Steadily, the dragon gracefully turned around corners. Left, then right, then up, then right, then left, then dip straight down. Shooting into a round cave with only a stone pedestal in the middle. The stone structure held a quill and scroll. Taking a deep breathe, the talons grabbed the quick gently, dipping it in squid ink. The talons wrote on the bottom of the scroll, below other words,

"The Prophecy tells he shall die,
And with secrets in her wings,
Fortune shall spy,
Just over the blue horizon."

The talons knew that these were an added part to the true prophecy, but it would be true, the talons would make sure of it. The dark shape lifted his wings and sighed. Dripping quill pressed between his talons, the shape laid down and wrapped it's wings around itself.

"A new glory will rise..."
