Part One: Newly Crowned
Act One's View Point: Crownbearer
Chapter One

Pitter-patter... pitter-patter. Swiftly, an invisible dragon launched at a supposedly unsuspecting dark dragonet. Even swifter, the dark dragonet skipped over to the side and turned around, watching as a blob of dark blueish-brown with splattered pink and green crashed to the ground. The blob let out a, pitiful, muffled half groan, half whine. The dark she-dragonet let out a pleased giggle.

"C'mon Oncidium! You have to be quieter than that, I could hear you from a cave-length away! I also suggest staying camouflaged the whole time. If you actually attacked me, I would have been able to slash out at you after my initial shock!" The female dragonet lectured. The multi-colored dragon on the floor groaned- again- and lifted herself up, her head flaps(the things on the sides of RainWing's heads) opening and closing once or twice.

"But Crown, you're the only one that can hear me! Everyone else never noticed me until it's to late. How come I can't scare you?" Oncidium whined. The dark dragonet, Crownbearer, puffed out her chest proudly, and a glint of light shimmered on her silver scales, the light particularly taking a liking to the silver drops by her eyes. Crown responded with an "I don't know" and stretched out her wings and forelegs. Oncidium sighed and rolled to show her belly. Her mind raced with how Crownbearer could have possibly outsmarted her. Glancing around, Crownbearer noticed Omega, Crown and Oncidium's very "special" friend, sitting quietly in a corner, watching them curiously. Crown flicked her tail for him to join them and Omega sat up, a small click-clack echoed silently through the tiny unbusy cave as he did. Omega calmly walked over to the two dragonets. He was the biggest out of Crown's group of friends.

Crown frowned as she noticed Omega's mind was, once again, blank. When she was younger, it was so clear, but as they got older, it faded and faded and now, it was completely blocked. He was a mute too, so that didn't help.

Oh, right. I forgot, Crownbearer. Some things about her:
-youngest
-the leader of the group
-optimistic
-very smooth, sexy, and charming
-has flight and breathing problems, cannot breathe in smoke or dust without having a coughing fit and can't run very long, it's also hard for her to get into the air without help
-can foresee the future and has a weak mind reading power (nobody knows she has it)
Yeah. I know. That last bit. Cliche.
Back to the story!

Crown's tail curled up in frustration, but she slapped on a smile and opened her mouth to say something, quite literally, before being shut up by the sound of heavy footsteps. The three dragonets turned around to face the entry way. A large, battle-scarred male pale green SeaWing and a slightly smaller, and younger, silvery-black smiling male NightWing stood standing, the SeaWing with an unhappy expression and the NightWing with an overly happy one.

"Hey Nightlifter, Tide. What's up?" Crownbearer chirped. Omega and Oncidium paced over to each of her sides. Nightlifter smiled.

"News!" He beamed happily, not caring to explain. Tide rolled his eyes.

"Yeah, yeah news... Go to the Red River, your den-siblings are waiting." Tide mumbled. Tide, the ever happy SeaWing obviously hated his job but for some reason he still did it. He was one of the many dragonet guidances, along with Nightlifter. Crown smiled and bounded forward happily, wishing she was still small enough to dash under Night. Oncidium and Omega ran after Crown, not wanting to lose her in fear she'd crash down and cough.

Crown dipped and dodged the dragons that were moving through the underground halls and caves gracefully, getting a few glances from the younger dragons who'd giggled or... well... stared. Yeah, it sounded weird but she was used to not only too the young male dragons' stares, but their strange thoughts as well. It was good to now she was popular, right? Omega and Oncidium chased after her, a good dragon length behind her. Crown gave a flap of her wings as she turned a corner, only to fall back to the cold ground and try twice again before a sudden gust of wind picked her up and she managed to fly. She glanced behind her and saw a pale red SkyWing behind her, smiling. Crown perked up.

"Cassiopeia!" Crown smiled. "Thanks! I'd thought you'd be with the others by the Red River."

Cassiopeia shook her head. "Typical Sun tried flirting with me again and he made some rather unwanted moves and that made me startle poor Twiggy and then Coyote got made at Sun and had to chase after Twiggy and then I had to help, leaving Sun in the dust, hopefully, and then Coyote grabbed Twiggy and flew off and now I'm here."

Crown sighed. Typical Sun. "Well, let's get going." Crown said as Omega and Oncidium came into veiw. Crown did a loop de loop and pushed off of Cassi's current.  Crown turned the final corner before flying into the Red River cave...
