"Okay Barney. I'm heading out!"

"Alright! Come back in one piece. And possibly something to eat."

I chuckled.

'Something to eat...

Sure Barney.'

I walk out of the apartment and walked down the stairs to the parking lot.

"Hello Michael! What brings you out of your apartment at this time? Don't you have no work today?"

I heard a women's voice.

I turned around to see the women that lives a apartment under me and John.

"Oh. Yeah.. Just out to do things. I didn't have work today so I decided to things on my own outside the apartment."

"Sounds fun! What are you going to do?"

I shrugged.

"Anything I can do at this point to get things off my mind."

She laughs,

"Well, I'll leave you to it. After all, you had a bad experience ever since," 

She sighs.

"I'm sorry. I think I just brought up a few bad memories. Well, go on! You need to go."

I shake my head.

"You're fine. Ever since, I forgot a lot of shit that happened. Hell! I don't even remember what I looked like back then!"

She laughs again, "I bet. I have to go now. My husband's waiting inside."

I nodded then turned around to walk away but I couldn't move.

I turned back around and I see her almost open the door to her apartment.

"Wait! Sarah, what's it like?"

"What do you mean?"

"I mean... To be married. What's it like?"

She looks at me shocked.

"Uhm.. Wonderful! I guess. I really don't know how to describe it. But I can tell you this, it's really amazing. Seeing the one you love everyday because you bought something together to see each other everyday is quite wonderful. I would go into full detail but we both need to go somewhere. I have to get ready for a meeting soon."

I look at her.

Those green eyes...

Dark red-brownish hair...

Perfect body structure...

"Sorry I asked.. It's just..."

"Michael? What is it?"

I showed her my hand with the ring.

She awed.

"Let me guess. John?"

I nodded.

She laughs,

"Good choice! I knew he'll do something like that one day. Such a great couple. So beautiful."

"Like yours! Your husband picked a amazing women, to be honest."

She just looks at me, then laugh.

I join in with her.

"Damn Michael! You're so funny sometimes. Or should I say all the time? Yeah! All the time. Well, I need to go now. Have a safe day Michael!"

"I will! You too. Do well at the meeting."

I turned back around to my car and waved to her goodbye.

'She's a good person. I guess you can say she's one of my new friends.'
