"Red! It's almost Christmas! Gosh, I'm so excited! Aren't you?"

A voice snapped me out of my thinking.
Of course, it's Barney.
I nodded, not knowing what he just said.

"Let me guess, you didn't hear me?"
I nodded again, laughing.
He groans and sits down on the couch next to me.
"Whatcha doing there?"
"Oh um.. Just some work you know?"

"Yeah yeah.. You look kind of.. sad?"

I looked at him.
"You don't know? You work part time here! It's lonely without you."
I said that last part kind of child like.
He frowns and gets up and gets near me.

"I'm sorry. I thought it would be okay for my 'health.' But remember, we live together you know? We always get to see each other!"
He smiles and tries to make me smile too.
"I guess..."
He sighs and gently grabs my chin to look at him because I looked away.
I looked into his eyes as he was doing that to me too.

"You have beautiful eyes. Have I ever told you that?"
"About a million times."

He chuckles.
"Well, its true."
And with that,
He kissed me.
Passionately and full of love.

He pulled away and hugged me.
I was a bit shocked but hugged back.

"Mind getting a room instead of doing your business at work?"
Someone sad with laugh at the end.

I quickly looked over at the doorway.

'God damnit Adam'
