PABLO
May 18th
I stared into the mirror at myself.
Damn this is it huh? You're finally graduating after all those bullshit ass classes and loose pussy hoes you've fucked. I'm proud of you man.
I picked out my hair that had grown so much over these past months, then I adjusted my black tie. My mom ironed my white button down and my black slacks for me, and I couldn't lie... I was going to miss this treatment. College was the next step in life.
I heard my phone ringing from my bedroom, so I answered on my Apple Watch.
"Yo wassup?" I asked in the mic.
"Peeeeeee!" Jaelyn whined over the phone.
I rolled my eyes instinctively. What the hell did she want now?
"Yes Jaelyn?"
"Where are you and Logan? We are about to be seated in 30 more minutes and if you guys don't make it in time it's OV."
"Girl I'm ready, shit! You better be calling Logan she's always late with her extra ass."
"Okay, see you later then. And did y'all come up with what we're going to do when we cross the stage?"
"Oh I don't know yet. I think imma dab on them hoes. You know we're honors, so we all get called first. So I might as well start that bih off the right way."
I heard Jaelyn laughing over the receiver. I knew she liked my idea, I just didn't know if Logan would.
"Okay, okay P. I'll do it with you if you want me to, but we just have to get Logan to do it as well."
"Alright. Big up mon!" I said before ending the call.
I finished putting my tie on as I heard knocks at the door.
"Come in!" I yelled.
As the door opened I saw a buff, tall dark-skinned man in my peripheral vision. I turned around completely to see my Uncle Rick standing there in a black button down shirt, gold chain, Louis Vuitton belt and some black slacks. My nigga was fresh.
"YOO WASSUP UNC!" I said almost slamming him.
"Waddup Nephew!" He replied slapping my back hard. Damn I forgot how strong this nigga really was.
We let loose of each other and stood there like silly fools smiling. He was 23 years old but somehow still looked as young as me.
"You look good fam, you really do." I told him.
"Thanks, you don't look so bad yourself. If I wasn't me I would wanna look like you my nigga!" He replied laughing and dapping me up. I loved this dude.
"Alright well, I gotta get going soon. Y'all can follow me in my car--"
"Nah, I flew here nigga remember? Go look. My jet is in y'all backyard. I'm riding with you."
I froze up and looked out my window to see that it was actually true. He was such a show off with his ugly ass.
"Well damn, alright then. Come on Unc, we gotta go." I told him while grabbing my keys.
I had 25 minutes to get to the graduation center, and it was at least 20 minutes from my house. That was cool though, knowing how I drive I'd get there in 10 minutes flat.
