JAELYN
"Ugh shit," I groaned.
I took off the glasses Logan had given me and rubbed my eyes. They were fucking up my vision, and I could feel a migraine building up in my head.
Logan invented a matching set of secret camera glasses for both of us to wear, just in case either one of us was in danger.
She was into high tech shit like this so it didn't surprise me one bit. This spy role definitely suited her just right.
I looked over the glasses. They were Ray Band frames, but had clear camera eyelenses. I would always be able to see what's going on on her side, and she would always be able to see what's going on on my side.
I had to admit it was a pretty smart idea, it's just one of my eyes saw reality while the other saw Logan's view. This shit was starting to confuse me.
On the bright side, we made it through the first building without a scratch on anyone. Well, all except Logan.
------------------------------------
Pablo had Logan to go inside the building's air vent 10 minutes before we entered the building so that she could eavesdrop over the twins' conversation.
Jared, Angel and Ben all used switch blades to kill off the 3 men guarding the front entrance so we could enter on Logan's call.
While Logan was inside the air vent, she heard the twins say that the briefcase was inside of a fish tank in the left office. With this being revealed, she signaled for us to come in the building and distract the twins while she went to get it. Logan made us keep them busy in the right office, while Cash was to help her by standing in front of the left office door as the lookout. Looks like our assigned roles were already coming to play.
As apart of Cash's job, him and Logan were to create a code word in case she needed to retreat.
Cash decided to whisper "Andy's coming!" three times quickly to the door whenever someone was approaching. Out of all the code words to say, his childish ass would choose a line from Toy Story.
The plan was working perfectly until Logan made it to the fish tank. I guess Pepe told the twins to make this shit as difficult as they could for us, because the fish tank was full of electrifying eels surrounding the briefcase.
Fortunately, Logan saw a long metal pole to reach and get the briefcase; but because metal is a conductor of electricity, she received a shock one time before realizing she needed to put on her cotton gloves. This bitch was so smart but had no common sense.
Once she got the briefcase, Logan climbed back up the air vent with it. But the job wasn't over yet.
I could see her struggling to climb back up the air vent through our glasses, and my dumb ass started jumping in place as though it was me climbing. No joke, these glasses had me delirious.
Once Logan got back in the air vent, she realized the briefcase was too bulky to carry. That left her no other option but to drag it, and once she did, we could hear her as she crawled through the walls. The twins became suspicious and the boys immediately tensed up.
I kept silently praying that no dumb shit would happen, but as soon as Logan crawled above the right office, she fell straight through the ceiling and flopped right in front of us.
