We pull apart, catching our breaths.

Did that just happen?

"Yeah, it did."

I cringe, "Did I really just say that aloud?"

"Yup."

I hide my face in his chest and blush.

"You're cute when you blush." He smirks.

"Shut up." I say turning even redder.

"And I love how easily I can make you blush."

"Stop." I playfully hit him, my face burning.

"Are you embarrassed?" He coos.

"Triston, I swear if you don't shut up."

Triston leans closer, "You're cute when you're mad." He mumbles in my ear.

I wiggle out of his grasp, "Stop it"  I say laughing.

He places his hand over his heart, "I'm offend."

"Oh well."

"Sweetheart you're hurting me." He pouts.

I roll my eyes, he's such a dork.

I hear a thumping come down the stairs and see Austin walk out eating a bag of chips.

Austin's eyes flash between us, "Y'all made it official?"

"Yep, we're officially dating." I say, not hiding the happiness in my voice.

Austin claps Triston on the back, "Bout damn time."

Austin puffs his chest, "You know, I practically hooked you two up. You both should be thanking me."

I scoff, "Thanks Austin."

Triston shakes his head and removes Austin's arm around his shoulders, "Thanks bro."

My phone buzzes from my back pocket, I open it to find a text from aunt Rachel.

Aunt Rachel: How was the movies?

Sage: Good. Heading home now :)

"I better get going, I'll see you guys later."

Austin gives me a half wave and continues to eat his chips.

Triston opens the door for me and gestures for me to go through.

I smile to myself and look down.

"Such a gentleman." I tease.  

He winks and follows me out the door.

We get to my house too soon for my liking.

"Thanks for waking me home, I'll see you later." I say shifting my feet.

Triston pulls me into a hug, "See you later sweetheart."

My heart flutters.
