this is suuuper long bc the lack of frequent updates. like over 6k words of death. have fun!!

Luke woke up that next morning with a foreign substance in his veins as he glared at the bright blue clouds and the melting snow from the night before. was it agog? what was he excited to see? was it just because he was happy he wasn't waking up to a Monday morning? was it all of the above? he couldn't pin point it, but he had something to look forward to.

chessie cake: thanks for the free food!! it's the only reason i came tbh

he realized by the time stamp that he never checked his phone after she denied him her lips. thinking back on the moment, he groaned in frustration but also smirked in success. he made it clear that he wanted her, which would inevitably lead to her coming back to him. in that moment when he took all of her in, he wanted to dig his fingers into her thunder thighs and the extra skin on her hips. he wanted to kiss her so fiercely at the base of her neck that he could feel the collarbones underneath her caramel colored skin. he wanted to see it turn a rosy red because of his fingers and tongue.

but for now, he'd have to prove her worthy of just her lips. and god, did he want them in that moment. he wanted to see her laugh, smile, talk, or whatever involved those velvet colored money makers wanted to do.

this was all partially because on Sundays he typically went with his father to business meetings he almost always fell asleep during. not even the hot secretaries attended, so there was literally nothing joyous coming out of it. mostly though, she was a bomb in his head, and there was nothing even the most intellectual of people could do to get it to stop ticking down. his mind would explode unless he was with her once again.

luke meat: i can do it again later today. just tell me where to pick you up

almost immediately, the bubble popped up that signified her fingers moving in a reply and he felt the blood in his system flood faster to his cheeks in anxiety.

cheesie cake: as great as that sounds, i'm working all day and i have to cram for this history test tomorrow.

oh sorry i meant study.

i totally didn't.

the gears in his mind worked over time to come up with a reason as to why he needed to see her. if it was accountable enough, maybe it would convince his father enough to tone down the inevitable eruption. he then remembered that she worked at a coffee shop in a book store, and tried to suppress a smirk as he typed a response.

luke meat: damn i was really in the mood for a cup of coffee.

he knew she wouldn't reply because she went back to focusing on work and her studies. he concluded that was as good a time as any to get back to his. he was generally so easily distracted and it made him wonder if she was observant enough to take advantage of this. he got enough done but every few seconds of his reading, he'd stop and backtrack on the information that he clearly wasn't obtaining.

Luke ended up finishing his essay in record timing. it was around one o'clock by that point in time and he found himself lost in a sea of books that he knew a certain person would adore. he was tempted to look through the aisles and look at the titles to see if they seemed appealing enough for her to be interested in. he checked his phone once more and expected to see if she did reply and he didn't hear nor see it. he was let down and silently cursed himself for getting his hopes up.

he looked at his watch once more and began to contemplate the approximation of his father's whereabouts in the scheduled meeting. he wondered if his father was looking at one of his younger secretaries like the stereotype of a white male in power. he figured that he was thinking of his wife instead and trying to come up with an explanation as to why she loved the disobedient boy so. there was one thing that he and his father agreed on: Luke was nothing special, and to act otherwise would be an insult to his "I couldn't care less" ego.
