Chapter 9
Jake pushed off the doorframe and held both my hands. "I was hoping you'd say that." And with that he kissed my nose and went to put his jacket away. Great! I have work tomorrow. What do I do?!?
I decided to let the thought leave me as I was soothed by his comforting touch as he draped his arm over my shoulder protectively as I snuggled into him, taking in his scent. Vanilla, I in hailed deeply and he laughed. "Like it?" I looked up and smirked "Well, I kind of think you smell actually. I just wanted to make sure it was you." I held my nose for effect. "Keep telling yourself that." he got up and I huffed "I'm only getting a drink, want one?" I smiled "Coke?" He gasped "not a DEIT coke?!?" I screwed my face up "Not all girls are obsessed with being beyond anorexic you know? And besides I burn them off quickly." I finished.
"Oh really? Would you burn them off with me?" he said whilst waggling his eyebrows, I laughed hitting his arm lightly "No Jakey you would be able to keep up with my workout" I replied cheekily. "Why don't we find out?" He retorted. I shook my head. "I'd rather relax with you than compete against you" I said batting my eyelids dramatically as I rubbed my hand lightly on his chest. It was only 8:00 but I was tired, two hours we've been sat here.
I yawned and snuggled deeper into Jake's chest. Letting sleep overcome me.
