Chapter 29
"You're drunk!"
"So are you!"
"No Chase, I've had something to drink, you've gotten yourself drunk." I huff. I've never really liked alcohol, so what he thought was alcohol was actually lemonade. Therefore I was not one bit drunk.
"Need a hand?" I spin around and saw Jake. He looked comfortably drunk, still standing, walking in a straight line, and smiling. "Would be nice." I smile back. "No! Get lost Mr. Perfect!" Chase screeches. I roll my eyes. "Let's get him to a cab quickly." Jake picks him up and I walk behind him, averting my gaze so I don't look at his back, arms or butt.
He calls a cab and by that time Chase has passed out. So we lie him on the bench and we sit on the curb. "Haven't seen you in awhile..." He states, I nod. "Yeah, life's been pretty hectic at the moment... I thought I'd take a break which is why I came clubbing for the first time." Jake nods and then laughs, "You didn't really get the full experience since you were on lemonade all night..."
I gape at him, "How'd you know?!?" Chuckling he says, "I guess I'm just more observant than some people." He glances at Chase before his eyes rest on me again. The cab arrives and Jake puts Chase in for me and smiles. "Call me sometime?" I nod, smiling back. "Of course, once this blows over I'll spend more time with you, deal?" He smiles wider, "Sure! I look forward to it." With that I get in and wave to Jake as I give the driver my address.

I haul Chase out of the cab after paying the fair. I clung to him, keeping him upright whilst I open the door and drag him in. "He looks awful." I whip around in a defensive manner. "Who are you?" I demand, narrowing my eyes into slits. "Sis, you need to take a chill pill. I wonder if I was so defensive when I lived alone too?" He thought aloud. I growled. "What's your name then? Do you think your crashing here? How did you even get in here in the first place?" I fire all these questions at once.
He puts his hands up in surrender. "I'm Josh. I, erm, I'm like you... I was an imperfect child too. I know how you feel, your also my twin. I wanted to ask if I could crash here, I'm not demanding. As for how I got in... Let's just say I know the tricks of the trade."
I breathe deeply. Soaking in all the new information. I have a twin. We we're abandoned but separated... why?
