"Man, class was stupid today." Black Star huffed as he jumped on a roof.

"Black Star! Remember the rules of being an assassin. Quiet!" Tsubaki scolded.

"Yeah yeah yeah."

The two jumped gracefully from roof to roof keeping close eye on Soul and Maka.

"I wonder where they're going and why they were being secretive about it?"

Tsubaki said to herself. "And why won't they tell us about it." "Um Black Star Maybe we shouldn't be following them."

"Why?"

"Because if its such a big secret that they couldn't tell us about it then maybe its a bad idea to follow."

"Well we can turn around now I need to find out who this guy thinks he is taking the spotlight away from ME, BLACK STAR!!!"

"Quit Black Star they'll hear you."

Soul and Maka had just stopped at the red light when Maka hear something . "Hey Soul did you hear that it sounded like Black Star."

"Well knowing Him it probably is. That crazy ego maniac."

"Okay pull over we might as well tell them ,they're gonna follow us either way."

Soul parked the Bike and they headed for the source of the screaming.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA." The assassin laughed at the top his lungs as his partner tried to calm him down before Maka and Soul caught on but she was too late the pair already found them. "Hi guys!" He smiled, jumping down from his perch on the roof.

"Black Star, why are you following us?" Maka asked, slightly annoyed.

"Because you're being secretive and you should tell your friends everything. Especially me, because I'm Black Star! The one to suppress GOD!" He started laughing again, Tsubaki shaking her head.

"Well, it won't matter what we do, he's going to follow us. May as well tell him." Soul groaned.

"Fine. Black Star, we're going to spy on a Meister-Weapon pair we met in the park because I'm curious about them. She's super powerful and she refuses to come to the DWMA. I want to know why. She would be really good if she had a little training. And her Weapon, Kirā, well he's like you, Tsubaki. He has multiple weapon forms. He even has one that's a double ninja blade. And he's a double bladed scythe and a sword." Maka painted over her words.

"Wow. That's really cool." Tsubaki commented as they walked. "I hope that she comes to the Academy. What's her name?"

"Saiko."

"Is there any way we can help?" Maka shrugged.

"Just come along for the fun."

The four laughed along the walk. Once they arrived at the small house in the woods, they fell silent. "Well," Soul sighed. "It's pretty." The house was painted a soft green with dark green shutters and door. All around the house there were little flowers and the entire yard was surrounded in a white picket fence. "How much you wanna bet Kirā did all the gardening?" Black Star laughed before being silenced by Maka.

"Shh! We're here to spy, not admire the flowers." Her footsteps fell silently as she crept to an open window. Peeking inside, she watched as Saiko laid her head in Kirā's lap and closed her eyes. Kirā opened an old and battered looking book and began to read.

Dear Saiko,

You know, of all the things I regret, not staying with your father is on the top of the list. He really used to be a great man, but he was a little, off. He loved me, and I loved him back. But I was afraid of him. And a relationship can't be built on fear. When I found out I was with child, I acted before thinking and ran. I packed while he was at work and I ran out to a little cabin in the woods. My mother used to take me here during the summer. There's a little pond in the back that we used to swim in. I loved it there. We would garden, and just be a little family, her and I. When I left, he looked for me. Whenever I had to go to town for supplies, all I would see was posters of me.
