I NEED U GURLLL
HYUN
She sat on top of the same factory that night. Her eyes glazed over as she lifted the bottle of vodka to her lips. She stole it from the freezer, it was what her father was saving for his anniversary with her mum. It was cold, and at first it stuck to her chapped, salty lips.
"What are you doing up here?" A deep voice questions, making the girl jump up in fear. "Who are you?" She demands, glaring. "Kim Taehyung. You're Lee Hyun, right? The girl who-"
"Lost her dad and brother, yeah, that's me. The girl living with the stigma of existence." She throws her arms up, tears slipping down her face as she mindlessly stumbled around a bit, sipping her vodka again. "You shouldn't drink that, it's bad for you." Taehyung points out, stepping forward slightly. "No, take one step backwards. I don't even know you." She waves a finger at him, almost tripping over. "I'm in like all of your classes though?" He frowns.
Hyun squints, taking in his features, and gasps. "Oh! You're that weird guy who keeps staring at me. Please stop doing that by the way, it's stressful." Hyun goes back to sitting on the edge of the building. Taehyung sighs, sitting next to her, and staring at whatever she was. "Are you okay, Lee Hyun?" Taehyung speaks up, to the dazed girl. She seemed drunk, which she kinda was, but her eyes held something different. "Just call me Hyun." She hummed, throwing the not even close to being empty bottle away.
"And truthfully? I feel hopeless."
TAEHYUNG
She was a mystery, and he wanted to discover her.
The way her newly brown hair blew in the wind, the way her eyes held tears- though they never fell, the way her hands intertwined, then clenched, then intertwined again.
He didn't understand the feelings she felt, and he didn't know that she didn't either. "You're a mystery, Lee Hyun." He blurted out, instantly regretting after she scoffed and shook her head. "I'm anything but, Kim Taehyung." She offered a smile, which he gladly returned. "It's 11, why are you out here?" Hyun asks quickly, poking his shoulder. "Couldn't sleep. You?" Taehyung ripped out moss from the cracks in the bricks.
"I came here all the time with my brother. Our ancestors owned this factory but no one paid attention to it so here it is. My property- you shouldn't be on it." Hyun chuckles, making the boy sigh. "Aish, you could've told me earlier." He pouts, grinning his rectangular smile. "I didn't know you, earlier." Hyun replies with a 'matter-of-fact' tone. "You could've." Taehyung winks, chuckling. "Well if that's what you were like earlier, then no thank you love." Hyun tries hiding the ghost of a smile dancing across her lips, as she turns her gaze to the boy. "You're apart of that weird boy gang thing at school, aren't you? The Bangtan Bangers or whatever." She clicks her tongue, smirking. She knew the name, she just wanted to see his reaction. "uM, eXCUse you, It's the Bangtan Boys. We want to start a band thing, we dance and stuff." Taehyung huffs, crossing his arms defensively.
"Oh my, I'm guessing that Suga guy is in it?" Hyun questions, flicking a small beetle that landed on the boys shoulder. "Yeah, Suga-hyung. Our group consists of, Kim Namjoon-hyung- though we just call him Rap Monster, Min Yoongi which is Suga-hyung, Jeon Jungkook- little Jungkookie, our Golden Maknae-"
"I think I know the rest. Park Jimin, Jung Hoesok, Kim Seokjin, and of course; You. Kim Taehyung." Hyun smiles, forgetting about all of her worries. It was nice. "Wow, you know your people." Taehyung returns the smile, lightly bumping the girls arm with his elbow.
To his surprise, she rested her head on his flannel covered shoulder, scooting a bit closer. "My brother was close to Rapmon." She confesses, after a few minutes. Taehyung's breath hitches, as he looks at the girl. He thinks back to Rapmon's expression after J-Hope announced the news on the bus. "I-I never knew."
"That's why my brother was the mystery, Taehyung. Not me."
